When I pointed out that any trade missions that occurred would have been official state business, Morgan again noted that I had learned about them in the context of the campaign. "The law is very stringent," she said, and recommended that I contact the McCain-Palin campaign. Two spokespeople did not respond to requests for comment.

I'm dumbfounded. There is a law on the books preventing the disclosure of information dealing with candidates? So you can't verify the bullshiat they spout on the capaign trail?

What?

I couldn't get it until I read the comments. Damn. I'm sure he's quite comfortable financially, but if Palin actually shows for the debate, he might end up at some payday loan place.

Payday loan clerk: ".. and if you'll initial here, here, here, and sign here and here.."

KO: "And now a special comment.."

PLC: "Shiat. I'll drop the weekly interest rate to 40% if you'll promise to keep me off 'worst persons', deal?"

KO: "20% will get you down to bronze. 10% is the deal, or your ass is 'buuusssshhhhheeed'."

I was kind of hoping Olbermann would stop paying out on the lies for a while to see if Bill O'Reilly would point out that he hadn't kept his promise. I think the opportunity to call out Olbermann would be more than he could resist, and in doing so he'd have to acknowledge that his VP candidate lies every time she opens her mouth.

Coco LaFemme [TotalFark] 2008-09-28 01:01:49 PM
I've said this before, but I'm not a fan of Keith Olbermann. I think some of the stuff he does is funny, but he can be way too overbearing and obnoxious. That said, what he's doing here is fantastic. Sarah Palin slashed funding for the Alaska Special Olympics. Sarah Palin is the mother of a special needs child. So what does he do? Donate money to said Special Olympics every time the dizzy twat opens her mouth and lies.

Bravo.

(If Keith needs any suggestions in the cardboard box department, when I was a kid, I made a fort out of a refrigerator box. It was comfortable enough to sleep in if you put enough blankets down. I'd suggest that.)

I think that if Palin supporters were forced to acknowledge something Bill O'reily said about something Keith Olbermann said about things Palin said they'd explode. So yes, he should definately do this. "But! But! But! They're all the same! Whargarbl!"

I don't get it. Olbermann is supposed to be fair and balanced? I guess he's just a shill for democrats like Rush is a shill for conservatives. But he plays it like a reporter. That's misleading.

Repubs had been in power up until 2006 but I don't recall this becoming a christian police state. I don' have the same confidence about what the left if capable of once in complete power.

Repubs lead because someone has to. Libs have an unhealthy jones for power. Because power is so elusive for the the economic underclass, you see them resort to violence to keep it once they get an opening. Check the manner in which politics have evolved in Venezuela or perhaps Iran (both underclass revolution states).

And yet, almost 50% of the American public will still vote for them REGARDLESS. And it would be the same if it was the Democratic candidate who was the failure. The elections are decided by a slim 10% of voters at most.

No, you get it. You ignored the content of what is being talked about and went straight to attacking the messenger. You totally and completely get it.

Palin lied, yet again. She is an empty suit making shiat up because there is nothing going on upstairs. Ripping Olbermann and going off on long-winded tangents about "Libs" and "power" doesn't change the fact that your candidate chose a runningmate who isn't qualified to take the guided White House tour.

I can't blame you -- if I still had to defend and spin this bullshiat on a daily basis, I'd ignore the substance of these reports too.
