The more I learn about him and hear him, the more I like him. And I pretty much hate Journey.

I would see Journey again and I saw them with Perry back in '87 so that's saying a bit.

Anyway he wants it, that's the way he'll get it.

No Steve Perry, no Journey.

I just saw them earlier this month, crazy how much he sounds like Steve. And the way he moves around stage he LOOKS like Steve Perry.

Heart was there too and they're friggin AMAZING live, sounds better than their recorded stuff.

Need to go see Boston next, anyone know how their new lead singer is?

That reminds me, need to pick up a copy of Brad Delp's new cookbook, "Grillin' at Home".

Well since Steve went his Separate Ways I guess The Party's Over. Still, The Wheel in the Sky keeps turnin' and Only the Young in this forum don't like Journey.

How does Geno survive with so little advertising?

SharkTrager, After reading your comment, I just wet myself. :)

slayer199: No Steve Perry, no Journey.

It's kind of like Oates without the moustache, like a part of the band has died.

Then I can say I actually achieved something today, which is surprising.

Ever see the Perry interview where he said he never felt like he was part of the band?! Then they tell Cain & Schon and one of them says 'Wha?! He WAS the farking band!' Great singer, but sounds like he turned into a headcase toward the end.

Im a big Journey fan. I just saw Journey here in Spokane, Wa. and they sounded great. He sounded so much like Steve Perry it was scary.

Gotta wonder how Steve Perry feels about this. It's gotta suck. Still, he's the real deal. No matter how good Pineda is (and I admit he's good), he's just apeing Perry--no original style of his own.

Bands touring with new singers: Boston, Journey, Yes. Any others? Zeppelin soon perhaps....
