Awww the weird summer weather farked up the berries he eats before he hibernates. Poor little bear. He just wanted some nutrients. Atleast he has not gone cannibalistic. YET.

Like those guys that like to wear a lot of leather?

Is it possible to summon Ghastly to a thread, for no other reason than to completely derail it?

Wasn't it was caused by our heathen godless ways and refusal to obey God's law? That's what the first tfa I read about this said.

Unfortunately, I can't find the link. That certainly was a comedy goldmine there.

Makes me wonder.. has a 575 lbs man ever accidentally smothered his dog? or cat? What if one of those 1200 lbs guys from guinness flopped on top of a 575 lbs bear? Like just surprised the bear and flopped on him.. would the 1200 lbs man be safe?

hmmm

Yes. Grizzly bears got to sleep last and wake up first. When they don't get the berries they will eat Black bears who go to sleep first and wake up last.

FTA:

A five-year study of bears in the ecosystem, based on DNA collected from bear hairs left behind in the woods, concluded that an estimated 765 grizzlies live in the northern Rocky Mountains of Montana. That's about 2.5 times the number of bears previously estimated to live in the 7.8 million-acre Northern Continental Divide Ecosystem, which is about the size of Maryland and Delaware combined.

Is this the bear DNA study that McCain biatched about as a wasteful earmark in the Presidential debate?

Seems to me that knowing something about America's wildlife (that can also cause danger to humans as well as balance out ecosystems) is a useful bit of scientific research.

[shrug] It's a fat and lazy bear, and it made me smile. Good enough.
