I wonder what percent think he's a cotton fabric (new window)

"In addition, 11% say they don't know because they have not heard enough about Obama's religion."

I guess Rev. Wright wasn't quite as ubiquities as people thought.

I heard a rumor that he has two black children.

Depends on how you define Christian.. my guess is he's not a Christian by any strict standard.. just like most people who sorta call themselves Christian.

46% of Americans are stupider than the other 55%.

mferris 2008-09-27 10:20:49 AM
Sorry, but if you don't know who you're voting for at this point.. or "don't know enough about the candidates"... your voting rights should be revoked.

Hopefully these people will be victims of the voter roll purging that's going on.

Even if he is a muslin I'm still voting for him. Well as long as the thread count is high.

He's Politician-Christian. They're the people who are clearly smart enough to be atheists and savvy enough not to admit it.

Unfortunately you can't identify yourself as a Politician-Christian if you are one, so people don't know this.

Agreed. Why is it not okay to show racism towards naggersAfrican-Americans but just fine to be openly and aggressively racist toward Muslims?

Whitewabbit 2008-09-27 10:24:53 AM
So the artical basically says at the end that the smarter you are, the less likely you are to believe that Obama is a muslim. Those of you who believe that Obama is a secret muslim might want to consider that, and have a think about what it might mean.

By any strict standard, there are probably ten Christians in the whole of the United States.

Untold numbers of American voters are ill- or completely non-informed. These untold numbers are the ones who make the difference.

Believe me, it doesn't make me happy to say it, and I'm not voting for either of them, but I truly believe John McCain will win in November. Obama simply lacks retard appeal.

If you don't know enough about the candidates at this point, you're not looking. But if you're still undecided because you're conflicted over their stances on the issues, that's a different story.

Not sure if it's true any more, but I used to hear that a lot of people didn't think about upcoming election until the World Series (of Baseball) was over. Something about priorities, I guess.

Christmas didn't used to start until after Thanksgiving. I now hear Christmas songs, decorations, wrapping paper displays and fully put-up light shows around Halloween.

This country gets wayy to excited way to early.

Well, as far as I know, his whole religious background amounts to Rev Wright and his beautiful message. Before that is unknown. Since Wright is political poison, he tossed him in the gutter so fast it wasn't even funny.

Who knows.

I clearly remember Obama not immediately abandoning Wright; he excused his behavior as a man of a certain time period, and said he did not disagree with that message. It wasn't until a good while later, when Wright was continuing to be Reverend Douchebag the Third, that he threw the man under the country club golf cart.

I also CLEARLY remember you dissing Obama for not "tossing him into the gutter" quickly enough.

I generally steer clear of any religious nutbags if at all possible. But I also steer clear of people who claim to be pious and really aren't. What is more scary, the danger you can see or the danger you can't see?

It's a double edged sword.

I just love how this election has somehow made the UCC, one of the most liberal and tolerant denominations in this country, out to be some sort of extremist church.

That plus this whole muslim crap just further reinforces my belief that one should have to pass a test to vote. Basically, you have to pass the US citizenship test in order to register to vote and maybe they ask you some basic qualifying question, for example, is the world older than 6000 years? Get it wrong, you don't get to vote.
