With the right editing you can make Mr Rogers look like Hitler.. Amazing how they leave out the second part of the sentences!!

That's a hell of an argument to make. I'm sure it will totally convince independents to say "he agrees with me, he's not ready to lead"

bronyaur1: This isn't going to work.

easy response ad for obama:

his diatribe about "you were wrong"

no fast editing required.

hyperdream [TotalFark] 2008-09-26 11:53:59 PM
I was wondering why McCain twisted every point of common ground into an attack. I've never seen a debate where a candidate doesn't agree on one or two points. They had this ad laid out before the debate and it wouldn't have worked well if you could produce the same sound bite for McCain.

bulldg4life: That's a hell of an argument to make. I'm sure it will totally convince independents to say "he agrees with me, he's not ready to lead"

lol good point. it's like when hillary went around in the primaries telling people "i'm not as bad as you think."

That's hilarious. Is that really a McCain ad?

If it is it was done in haste.

Too bad the campaign is not about who can make the stupidest ad fastest.

gundamtsubasa [TotalFark] 2008-09-27 12:07:31 AM
Well, considering McCain's record and comparing it to what he's been saying recently, John McCain doesn't agree with John McCain, so he most definitely IS ready to lead!

vegasj 2008-09-27 12:07:47 AM
no, actually... it shows Obama has no problem admitting the other side is correct.

bipartisanship

Dude, it is real. It's on McCain's main page, right up front. (see link) Not only is he serious, he seems to be proud of it.

thamike 2008-09-27 12:20:40 AM
Also, if you see his quotes from the press regarding his debate performance, I notice that everyone he quoted (except for maybe Buchanan) followed up by adding that Obama won and many agreed that this will probably result in a frozen small lead for him.

And-1 2008-09-27 12:22:41 AM
That is ridiculous. Nothing like mindless partisanship to make a leader. Like never admitting someone else could have a good idea is a recipe for success? Just like the stubborn ideologue who has been in the White House for the past 8 years?

Seems with McCain-Palin, we could have another 4 years of the same partisan bullshiat, with the same bunker mentality that refuses to admit outside ideas, and refuses to build Reagan-style consensus.

Or, you know, we could have someone that is happy to admit, adopt, or agree to a good idea when he sees it. That is happy to work with smart people for the good of the country.

4 more years of McCain's Bush-style demagoguery? Or 4 (8) years of an Obama government that is open to hearing the best ideas?

Hard choice, America.

If this numb-nuts gets elected, we're farked. God, I want to go back to Chile. I'd have to renounce my US citizenship to become a citizen, but, ya know what? If this douche gets elected, there's absolutely no reason to be patriotic.

Nah. They don't let her out in public anymore. Couldn't even let her do a 30 second spot to respond to Biden after the debate. They had to bring out Rudi Juliani - the pro-abortion serial divorcee secularist moderate. She is scared of the press, and for good reason.

She cannot think on her feet, and has no communication ability. Imagine her in front of an aggressive foreign dignitary; or trying to make important decisions on the floor of the Senate. Or, heaven help us, as actual president if needed, just as Cheney and Gore before her.

Haha! That .gif must really come in handy. I'm surprised I've not seen it before. I would have definitely worn it out, especially considering all the scuff marks on the floor caused by my jaw over the past seven years.

I totally thought they were gonna say yes at the end.

Whoever is running that campaign, they need to never work in politics again.

Now: He gives credit to someone from the other side so he is unfit to lead

Really people. You've got to be able to come up with something better than this. It's like you're not even trying.

After they pointed at this cross-eyed dingbat:

and exclaimed, with straight faces, "Yeah, THAT'S the ticket! We'll be unstoppable!"--I am no longer surprised at any level of buffoonery they exhibit. It almost seems intentional.

Oh, come on, Tom.

Obama made a slam-dunk! You have to admit it. McCain almost melted down tonight. He really needs to learn to get a hold on his temper and not repeat himself.

I'm sure that McCain will have his chance in the second debate. He's no dummy, but he's being handled by sycophants and Madison Ave. and Rovian advertising agents.

Not likely. He would be up in the polls. Rove would never run this kind of grade-school horsesh*t. He's even criticized McCain for it.

Rove invented push-polling.

That's pretty-damned grade-school if you ask me.

That big fat bag of shiat knows no depth and is completely amoral.

Not immoral, which assumes he knows the difference between right and wrong, but amoral... which suggests that he's a complete sociopath.

He needs to be shot like you have to do to feral dog packs in the woods. Feral dogs will kill anything, even when they're not hungry.

Killing feral dog packs is actually, environmentally responsible.

he screwed up two world leaders' names, got the recent history of pakistan wrong, and continued to defend his saying he would not meet with the prime minister of spain.

You're right. It is his strong point. He knows foreign policy.

But Obama knows the economics of the poor and middle class. (You and I are by no means RICH.) And we're good and right farked if we can't fix this.

You remember "History of the World, Part I?" We have a senate now that has stood up and said, "FARK THE POOR!"

So, did you even watch the debate? Is "McCain is better on foreign policy" your default setting?
