I went to high school with him. He's not really gay unless he isn't telling his wife something.

Do you automatically assume that actors that act fruity on a TV show are widely believed to be gay?

No. I assume all actors are gay until they prove otherwise. Then I assume they are bi. I'm not joking. Another assumption I have is that they are smug left-wing hypocrites. This is generally true.

Anyone who has watched "Just For Laughs : Gags" have seen that Montreal cops sometimes are spotted wearing no pants, assless pants or panties, suspenders, and stockings.

You Tube - No pants police (new window)

WTF? Police wear the uniform they are supposed to, or they should be fired. The purpose of the uniform is to plainly identify them as police. Deviating from tjhe uniform is a public safety issue.

Is that your night stick officer, or are you just glad to see me?

Miss Smartass 2008-09-26 08:10:56 PM
That's too bad... I saw a really hot policeman when I was passing through there one time.

mark12A: WTF?

these days certain units probably wear that as their uniform and "regular" units got pants envy...

from TFA: Delorme had argued that the pants could invoke feelings of repression in citizens, particularly those citizens from countries controlled by military-based governments.
"your papers, please...."

poutine514: That was the crappiest, "I know a famous person" story I've ever read.

Would you be impressed if I told you that I went to a private party at Obama's house? My sister works at U. of C. with Michelle. But I am not here to impress anyone.

Pfft. Call me when Montréal women stop wearing pants. You wouldn't get me out of there with a seven-nation army.

The other day I saw some Montreal cops wearing baggy blue cammo pants. It looked stupid as hell, and really, really made me super nervous. Like they were trying to project some sort of paramilitary look or something. They're cops, not soldiers.

/or maybe I need to chill out and give the cops a break?
//nah

Mokmo 2008-09-26 10:04:45 PM
They copied Quebec City in their pants protest, they just put more variety in the colors...

But who the hell makes orange camo pants ?

and how. just returned from a trip to montreal- good god that town is full of hot box. of course, in order to sample said box with my wife I had to pay good money up front, but seriously, isnt that why I have a job?

ssrat 2008-09-27 01:38:08 AM
Blue Cammo pants?? as a PROTEST.. I don't get it not only are they not in uniform and should not be paid until they wear the uniform since obviously they are NOT wearing a police uniform so it means they should not get paid NY the police dept.

As a matter of fact they should be IGNORED since they look nothing like the police so why should anyone obey what they say.

If they WANT to play army then join the damn armed services.

As for the argument that there are those that would be intimidated by the "uniform" after knowing it IS basically SWAT pants I think MOST people would wonder what is going on and what level of authority do they have.. IS it SWAT level? and what can they NOT do

portscanner 2008-09-27 06:42:32 AM
.... the city's police officers may continue to wear the guerrilla-style pants, The Globe & Mail said Friday.

That will go over real well. Someone walks up to me dressed like an ape and yells "Stop! Police!" I am gonna smack them in the face.

Well he looks like a cop and has a badge and a vest but the pants are all wrong. I am just so confused.

Silvorgold 2008-09-27 09:39:39 PM
I was living in Quebec City all summer long and every single police officer I saw wore the "guerilla" style pants, I thought this was just normal for Quebec

Yogimus 2008-09-28 05:51:01 AM
The militarization of our police forces is the single greatest danger to the erosion of our civil rights. I want to slap police when they refer to people as "Civilians".

/ProTip! YOU are a civilian!
