I notice the press didn't protest like they did with Palin. They seemed to understand that it was a private meeting, and that a statement would be issued later. It's a tad different than a VP candidate who all but refuses to be scrutinized by the media, trying to get a photo-op without allowing the press to ask questions or record audio. The difference is akin to Private Meeting vs. Suspicious and Constant Evasion.
