Something's wrong with this story. When an air bag deploys it also trips a circuit breaker for the fuel pump. It's a safety feature; if the impact was hard enough to deploy the air bag then there may be damage to the fuel lines, so by disabling the pump you virtually eliminate the possibility of a fuel fire. You can reset the circuit breaker easily enough but you'd need to pull over and get out of the car to do it.

So you have no idea what you are talking about.. I guessing you had a Ford at one time, they did that. That does not mean every car flips a breaker when the airbags go off.
