You see, Doi Takako was a famous and popular Japanese socialist. She also talks funny.
So, Takahashiathere goes around dressed like her, saying "This is Doi Takako". Then she drinks milk, or chases animals with food, or goes around in a marching band.

Why aren't more people watching this show?

Heh yeah.

But, I have to admit when I listen to the radio and they give the head of parties response to some government initiative or to the 所信表明演説 (the plan for what the PM wants to do with the country, kinda like "state of the union" in the US) I'll be tuning it out and then someone gives a good speech and I think "yeah!" and it turns out to be the Communist or Shamin parties.

Still, it's good to hear some opposition voice. To take them all the way maybe isn't good but it's nice to hear someone confrontational poke holes in the ruling party sweet nothings talk, y'know?

/yeah I'm lefty

Youtube is pro-intellectualism. Have you ever read the comments? Pure rational gold.

The unemployed are a good group to rely on for change of any sort. I mean, it's not like they have anything better to do.

I can't tell if I'm being sarcastic or not.

Yes, yes you can.
It goes by "Hello! Morning" "haromoni" and "haromoni@".
Subtitles are available, but not for every episode.

Young unemployed Japanese flock to Communist Party

Come to America instead and join Obama's American Idol Socialist Party.

Better hurry, though. It's only going to last about 40 more days.

There's a lot of Japanese here that actually choose to be dirt poor, because the other option is sacrificing everything in your life, including sleep.

So yeah. A lot of my friends are dirt poor.

There is also Keyhole TV (google it) that lets you watch several of the major Japanese tv networks online, quality isn't perfect, but it works.

Malbar: The young and unemployed are pretty much the only people naive, lazy and ignorant enough to support communism, so I guess it's a perfect match.

Fortunately for Japan, too many Japanese people are educated enough that communism will never gain a strong following.

As a teacher in Japan, Bwa ha ha ha ha!

Sounds like LA today.

//view from the ridge in Temescal Canyon is amazing.
/// but it's 1000 feet. and you look down on the rich.

Good. And good timing, if that had happened a few decades ago the CIA would have arranged a neat little "accident" for the party chairman.

glutton 2008-09-21 10:26:05 PM
substitute "Japanese" for "Americans" and "Communist Party" for "Ron Paul," and you sum up the Ron Paul rEOVLution.
