00ghost27: Which is what exactly?

Repeat bullshiat urban legends about the band as truth?

Hmmmm, I dunno...

I was just re-reading 'Hammer...' and if half, heck, a THIRD of that stuff is true those guys were pretty nuts. but then it was the 70s and they were rockstars.

I think if GnR wasn't worse then they were doing something wrong...

I saw the book in Barnes & Noble yesterday. I was surprised, after the backlash the author received, that he was able to sell another book.
I'll prolly get a second hand paperback copy from my local paperback trader in a couple of years.
I'm not really a Guns fan, but I'm sure they are some awesome stories in there. True or not.

With Axl Rose, you're bound to have quality stories. If the book was "The Making of Chinese Democracy" then sure, it would be boring as hell... but this is G N F'n R we're talking about.

There wasn't a whole lot of diff between stories in "Hammer" and the book Richard Cole wrote later.

If you know who Richard Cole is, you are a Zep fan.

I'm sure stories were embellished somewhat, if not complete fiction. Especially for someone as iconic as Zep. They usually are for a book.

It's not like everything in Motley Crue's The Dirt is factual. It was a fun read, though.

KILLERPIGGY: Richard Cole was a part of Led-Zeppelin's road crew.

Well he was the road manager and was the source for 99% if the stories in "Hammer of hte Gods." So it is no surprise his book was similar.

Stephen Davis is a notorious yellow journalist, and Hammer Of The Gods is a libelous hatchet job.
