The only people I know who support McCain are far-right fringe Republicans. If he does somehow manage to steal a victory, it will be a disgrace and a humiliation, and it will turn America into a Great Depression style shiathole.

Hope you guys like bread lines, that's the kind of free market John "Deregulation" McCain is offering.

He just locked up the votes of all fellow child molesters. This may not sound like much, but now I know why the Hollywood supporters of Obama gave a standing ovation to disgraced director Roman Polanski at the Academy Awards last year. Apparently liberals not only hate kids, but fall all over themselves cheering on women who murder unborn children. What will those wacky liberals think of next?

After 2000 and 2004, it should be fairly obvious that around half the country is quite into disgrace and humiliation. And with the pissing and moaning that followed, the other half seem quite ready to tie them up and whip them.

So, you know, we should be getting along a lot better than we are.

My question is:

How much longer are we going to tolerate it. If Obama wins, this is not going to change. He will serve 4-years, trying to undo Bush's stupidity and be labeled Jimmy Carter as everything goes to hell under what Bush has created. In 2012 he is going to get his ass kicked by Huckabee and we are going to be right back where we started with Nixon/Regan/Bush/BushII.

How much longer are we going to tolerate it, before splitting up becomes the only viable option for becoming solvent and existing in the real world?

I dunno; if I was burning badly enough that I couldn't put it out myself with the stop-drop-roll thing, I doubt whether someone urinating on me would make that much of a difference.

Well, he's right. The fact that it's close at all is either a massive lie or tells me that a large portion of the American people are dumber than a sack of hammers and should probably not be allowed to vote without some kind of test to show that they understand current events. Too bad people would probably throw a hissy fit if we did something like that.

I didn't think I could believe people (collectively) were any dumber than I already thought they were, but I was wrong I guess.

I agree with him.

Seriously WTH is wrong with you, America?

Why is this race even as close as it is? You couldn't handle Obama for even a mere 4 years?

And yet you somehow tell yourselves that voting for McCain is NOT the same kind of crap Bush has been feeding us?

Oh right, thanks for that: like I don't know what it really means. My point is that it's stupid, and stupid people use it for stupid reasons, because stupid people don't ever think about the stupid things they say.

Yeah, pretty much. When Obama doesn't solve all the country's problems in the first two weeks in office you're never gonna hear the end of it from the right about how everything is his fault.

Seriously, imagine if financial institutions started collapsing next February instead of this month. Do you know how much people would be yelling "OMG SOCIALISM! NATIONALIZATION!" over bailouts if a democrat was in office?
