The video is hilarious, it look like she's running all over the stage for some reason.

That is REALLY a "Principal Caught-SAYOF see I told you so OR-" moment, eh?

Someone should mangle the headline in that fashion with this oil fungible/molecule theme.

"Oil and coal? Of course, it's a fungible commodity and they don't flag, you know, the molecules, where it's going and where it's not. Because the -- all which is on the table begins to address the big cost drivers. But in the sense of the Congress today, they know that there are very, very hungry domestic markets that need that oil first. There's a series of parts of the formula that are being considered. And when you couple that, those different cost drivers, affecting those as opposed to the increase of prices. So, I believe there is a reform that would help solve the red if that were put into effect that what Congress is going to do, also, is like as such not to allow the export bans to such a degree that it's Americans that get stuck to holding the bag without the energy source that is produced here, pumped here. In other words, it's got to flow first, how fast the promised benefits grow, if those -- if that growth is affected, into our domestic markets it will help on the red."

It's pretty simple. Alaska has oil and gas up the wazoo, so she understands energy problems far better than people from other states who are the consumers of said oil and gas (and who don't get annual kickback tax rebate checks from the taxes levied on the oil companies)

Um, I think she said we need to produce our own oil and keep it in the domestic market rather than sell it internationally?

Which doesn't make sense to me insofar as the "fungible commodity" argument goes.

Obama has promised you hope and change and you're peeing down his leg?

Hope and change will not be denied! It's time for hope and change, regardless of the form it will take. We're the ones we've been waiting for and we demand hope and change and we're not going away until we get it and we'll crush anyone who dares to question our commitment to hope and change. Because all you need to effect change is hope. And Obama has correctly identified us as the agents of this hope and change, and I, for one, will do whatever it takes to ram the message of hope and change up your resisting, disgusting Republican chute.

The Weeners FTFA:

This is one area where Palin has a decisive advantage. Barack Obama looks foolish when he comments on ways to conserve energy, such as inflating your tires. Conservation is something we should be doing but it is only a fraction of the solution.

If it is indeed a fraction of the solution, why is it foolish? He never implied it was the whole or a large part of the solution. The AAA will tell you that it is indeed effective, though.

The best I can figure if you cut through the god awful grammar is that she thinks that sequestering domestic oil production and making it exclusively available to Americans would be somehow beneficial.

Which tells me that the Republican party's choice for Vice President of the United States has no idea whatsoever how commodity markets operate, and really has no idea how basic economics works.
