If I have to hear it one more time I am going to punch the Jonas Brothers in the face.

In fact, screw it. I will just punch them anyway.

What's the "bradley effect?"

and while you're at it, What's a "Nubian"?

What about the "closet" Obama voters? You know the guy who talks up being on McCain's side to avoid arguments with trollish co-workers and then votes for Obama when in the privacy of the booth?

This sounds like really bad news...for Obama.

I'm just happy to see most of the right-wing trolls hanging their hats on the hopes that covert racism will carry the day.

Oh, don't worry, it will become much more overt over the next month.

I have personally lied to pollsters and told them that I am voting for Obama because he is for change. I felt put on the spot by the black pollster. I am living proof of the bradley effect, and will also be lying about my vote if I get exit polled, just to make the election night coverage more interesting.

/Im in ur polls, skewing the results.

Is it really a good idea to have a 70 year old cancer patient choose a VP like Palin? I would not be surprised that she does something to make it look like the cancer took a sudden turn for the worse. I do not trust her at all. She lies like a husband getting home at 4 AM stinking of cheap perfume.

Vote Obama '08. The most qualified and the best chance for change.

I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today.

I offer up the relatively small Farker turnout in this thread as evidence that while people might claim the Bradley Effect is real, when the polls open they vote otherwise.

I see it as refusal to acknowledge it.

Given the scant "evidence" produced to supposedly show the existence of the "Bradley effect," I am forced to conclude that it exists mostly as a matter of wishful thinking among conservatives. That if they run around yelling "Bradley effect! Bradley effect!" enough, that will make it more real.

I just think it's kind of sad. All these people gleefully trotting out the "Bradley effect" as the reason their guy will win. They're basically pinning their hopes on the secret racism of their countrymen, and not too subtly either.

The bradley effect does not have anything to do with racism, it has to do with fear of perceived. The idea is not that there are alot of people who are secretly supporting McCain because Obama is black, the idea is that there are people who are saying they are voting for Obama just because they don't want to appear like racists. it is a subtle difference, but still a difference.

I hope you're not a Christian, because this is pretty much damning you to hell. Admitted, intentional, repeated false witness. I hope you're proud of yourself
