That sounds about right, time-wise. They're as crappy as they are egotistical.

I thought they just picked a Beatles song at random and said "Something like this".

Where are the hookers? Blow and hookers go hand in hand.

Yawn. What band hasn't done that?

Humorous little article...I think the Gallagher brothers attempted to do more blow pound for pound than the Rolling Stones and almost succeeded...

Funnily enough, their best albums.

/If only Bill Hicks had something to say about this.

"writing a song in 10 minutes"

It shows.

Hey, Noel Gallagher could write a better song in 10 minutes than most people could their entire lives. Oddly enough though, I think their best album was Be Here Now. Still one of my all time favorites by anyone.

So how come Amy Winehouse can't write a good album?

Some might say we will find a brighter day
Some might say we will find a brighter day

Cos I've been standing at the station
In need of education in the rain
You made no preparation for my reputation once again
The sink is full of fishes
She's got dirty dishes on the brain
It was overflowing gently but it's all elementary my friend

Cos I've been standing at the station
In need of education in the rain
You made no preparation for my reputation once again
The sink is full of fishes
Cos she's got dirty dishes on the brain
And my dog's been itchin'
Itchin' in the kitchen once again

Some might say

Correction: Noel Gallagher has balls to write a song.

A better song? Hmmm.

You have their CDs? Seriously, look up all their lyrics, and try to work out their significance.

I tried one time and concluded what a bunch of shiat they were. It's high school rhyming book lyrics. It means fark all.

I like Noel a lot, and the music works for me...but it's when i hear the lyrics i have to switch off their inane drivel.

see above

Yeah lyrics to 'Morning Glory'... Pretty self explainatory to me.
Didn't they have another tune 'Cigarettes and alcohol'? Not blow but it's not that much of a stretch. Besides, wasn't oasis infamous for partying alot in the early days?

/Likes Noel's vocals better than Liams'.

Noel needs to get back on some drugs then!

Bill Hicks may have to revise his comment regarding the music and drugs connection.
