This will be very interesting indeed. Last time I checked, there wasn't anything in the New Testament about homosexuality. Admittedly, not being a biblical expert, I might be wrong.

Thank God we live in America and no one will criticize this man for being a repressed homosexual.

What makes this a truly sad testament, however, is the fact that Rob Halford was more comfortable announcing to the world of heavy metal that he was gay, than Ray Boltz felt in coming out to those charged with following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. What is this saying about the followers of Jesus?

There was never anything rockin' about Ray Boltz's music. This is the song where he first made a name for himself. If I remember correctly, he won some sort of new Christian music contest with it.

Good for him for coming out. It won't be easy dealing with the backlash, but it'll probably be easier than keeping it a secret for the last three decades, and maybe it'll nudge the holy homophobes an inch or two towards being more tolerant. And I'm sure he'll find out who his real friends are, too.

Well... He said, it's best to remain single - because that way you can concentrate on God alone. But if you can't control yourself and your passions, you should definitely get married.

But he does bust on "the unnatural" alot for some one for whom the passions were not a major concern. Just like he did alot of reminding people he was an apostle... even though he never met Jesus in person.
