Cool--the first and only Britney-King Crimson threadjack. I liked the song "Cirkus" on Lizard. I also liked Gordon Haskell. I have his old solo album somewhere--I think it's called It Is and It Isn't and I'm pretty certain John Wetton plays on it. I'll dig it up tonight.
Cheers!

hehheh thanks for the comment! :-)
I like virtually ALL of Lizard except for "lady of the dancing water" --- blech!
His vocals are actually not that bad as some people say...
sometimes i actually PREFER him to the over-expressive [operatic?] vocals of Boz on "Islands"....
oh and putting Jon Anderson on Prince Rupert Awakes was a great idea... i wonder what the album would've sounded like if he did vocals for ALL the songs??

[it's a great album to listen to on a nice crisp fall day with the leaves changing and stuff... hard to describe *why* or *how*, but it just is... it just *fits*... maybe the mood/melodies, etc. .... or maybe i listened to it for the second time in my discman on the way to the cottage/lake in the fall...]

Wetton rocks.
his bass tone and playing could be like brimstone and hellfire, and it could also be sombre and expressive. what a bassist!

/ btw, i've heard of that haskell album, but i think i might've seen it only once in a record shop in the past decade or so... lol
