I read that entire article, and there was nothing in there about getting a free ride when you've already paid. I want my minute back.

Oh, and IRONY would be if she was the president of the "Leptospirosis is Harmless" society. Just sayin'.

Not to mention the Hanta Virus, with a death rate in excess of 50% for those infected. Theres a reason we kill the nasty little bastards.

Actually, no, no he didn't. He argued that adaptive traits would be more likely to be passed. He never argued that non-adaptive traits would lead to death. Plus, she already bred. So, I just want to say that rats are filthy animals. They were the vehicle for the fleas that caused the faking bubonic farking plague, ferfarksakes.

Rats are filthy animals. They were the vehicle for the fleas that caused the faking bubonic farking plague, ferfarksakes.

The rat generally associated with people today are the brown or Norway rat. Its presence is not usually associated with the bubonic plague, unlike the black rat it generally tends to drive out, so the logical conclusion is that the rats now much eliminated plague.

That said, wild rats are filthy animals that are a vector for leptospirosis, the lice that spread typhus, et cetra. The only thing I have against domesticated rats is that, personally, the mere touch of their fur causes huge red hives and breathing in a place they are kept induces intense allergic reactions.
