Was that in Kilometers? On the dashboard?

If so..dude was only doing 65 MPH. And other guy was Autobahning at 120 MPH. And the asshole moved back into the left lane after the guy passed.

Yes it was kilometers, and 150kph = 93mph
From the 130ft or so he pulled ahead in 1 second, I'd estimate the speed of the other car at around 180mph, possibly faster if I underestimated his 1 second distance.

Molavian 2008-09-13 11:58:58 PM
150 km/h is about 93 mph. That other car is going damn fast.

That is a straight up knock off of the Getaway in Stockholm series. Which BMW also ripped for their ads a couple years back.

The guy is doing 150 km/h. The car is probably going double or about 180 mph. Must be nice to afford that kind of gas.

He is lucky no Dallas, TX, tourists are out driving there....
They use the blinker less than 50% of the time! Terrible drivers! The car is an extension of the living room it seems!
In Rome and Paris you actually can trust the drivers, as their cars would not last long if they did not show their intentions!

Kart Vader
is arguably more "fun".

Taking a high-end go-kart with way too much hp/weight through the city and highway full-out.

The speedo is in km/h. Looks like it was made in Germany. I drove my car (Volkwagen Golf 2.0 TDI) there at 220-240 km/h on the autobahn. Last time I was in Germany, I think we were going around 260km/h in my friend's Audi A3 2.0 CDI S-line. In better cars, you can cruise at around 300km/h, but it really sucks up the fuel.

I like this one

An RUF R Turbo (modified Porsche 996 (pops)) overtaking on the Autobahn at 330km/h. At night.

I was touring the midwest with my band and we were on the Dan Ryan Expressway in Chicago, late night after a gig. I was driving after the "designated driver" puked before getting into the van. I was doing maybe 50 mph. when we were overtaken by a motorcycle that must have been going 120 or more. It scared the living crap out of me. About a quarter mile down the road, we came upon the carnage of the bike in pieces and the driver and passenger, both without helmets, clinging to life on the road. They smashed full speed into the back of a small car. Totalled the car and destroyed the bike. I don't know if they survived. We stuck around and tried to help best we could by stopping bleeding and keeping them calm, but it didn't look good. The trooper took all of my info (I'm from NYC), but never called me as a witness in any case. Methinks they didn't make it. Still think of it whenever I play in Chicago.

I don't believe this was anywhere in Europe, unless the video has been mirrored. They're driving on the wrong side of the road (see the other highway lane across the median?) and the driver's side is on the left. This is either in Canada, or that's not km/h.

So what you're saying, is that this guy watched The Getaway in Stockholm Series, built a time machine, went back in time about thirty years and ripped it off?

Have you heard of a country called England? They drive on the right there. And I believe they have yellow plates, but I am not sure.

What? This is Germany, this is in kph and yeah, this is sure as hell possible. You know, just because Germany is in Europe doesn't mean everybody is driving on the wrong side of the road and, well, people are using the metric system in main land Europe as well.
On another topic: Seems to be a 6th Gen Corvette with Dutch or British number plates, making this video even more probable.

The original Paris drive was faked...
The car was an old Mercedes with cameras strapped to the front. The audio came from another car and the whole thing was speeded up...

Sorry for raining on the parade...
