Heh. I got a flip-out screen in my dash (I know, I'm super fast2furious) and on my drives back to university it was an hour and a half long stretch of nothing (the 403 from Toronto to London for you Ontario farkers). At night it was virtually empty, so I threw on an episode or two of (whatever show I was into at the time) and just checked out the screen every 5 seconds to see what was going on. A couple of friends thought it was stupid, but it's not like I was driving around staring non-stop at the screen.

I drove from Amherst, MA to Stony Brook, NY watching Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. I started when I left, and I finished as I pulled into my driveway. I suppose it was one of the stupidest things I've ever done, but I'm pretty sure I stayed in the lines and didn't hit or kill anyone or thing on my way.

That is an interesting possibility. I had read somewhere that Paul Campbell might be written back into the show because his character was so well liked by fans. But how could that be done and it make sense....unless....! Sorry, what was this thread about? Oh yeah, truckers.
