ya know, i think TSA is a good idea, but there needs to be more accountability and competition. i think we should create a second tsa, call it Federal Airport Guard, give them the same stuff and put them right next to TSA in the airports doing the same job. then sit back and watch competition work.

Happens here in Detroit all the time. Some moron working for minimum wage at the TSA will try to get out of a traffic ticket saying they are law enforcement too. Usually give's the officer writing the ticket a smile that lasts the rest of the day.
