I say go for it. The instructions are easy and clear. You just have to strain out the bits and the congealed fat which is simple. I've made a lot of lemoncello and it's always worked out well. Geez, think what you could do with the congealed fat you strain away. Vodka infused bacon fat. That's gotta be worth its weight in gold.

heh yeah bacon infused vodka is kinda old... I've been adding bacon salt to red bulls and coffee and bloody marys for a long time now. I add bacon flavor to everything... even chex cereal.

I hate pre-flavored vodkas.

And I do not want to drink my favorite meat, ever. Texture is vital. I would not be against using a strip of bacon as a swizzle stick, however.

Came in to mention this. The guy who came up with it wasn't doing so well with his muscadine-infused vodak, so one night he tried the sweet tea infusion on some friends. For something that was only introduced a few months ago, Sweet-tea vodak has become an absolute (no pun) staple of every bar in town...

Try it neat, or on the rocks. Ladies like it mixed with lemonade.

Kinda' agree with you. KC and MM are fine among the big producers, but JD has it's time and place beyond HS. (though I prefer JB when sipping low brow)
