Fun link. I also think this Primus song ^ is a perfect commentary on McCain's speech the other night. (Silly video montage, but great audio worth cranking up the bass for.)

Imagine is Les replaced Newsted when he quit. Metallica might have stopped sucking by now

Les auditioned with this song back in '86 to replace Cliff. I don't recall offhand if he was amongst those after Newsted left.

Les Claypool's Frog Brigade's performance of Pink Floyd's "Animals" is better.

Wikipedia says Primus played at 94 but not at 99.

/not subby
//saw them do this live back in '93 too

I looked it up. you're just going to take what some youtuber says for granted? Maybe someone should look things up before whining like a little biatch, uhmmmm?

Actually, the 2 later Woodstock are easy to tell apart

the 1994 one was a lot of aging hippies but had great performances from NIN , Chili Peppers, these guys and a truly awesome mudfight with Green Day

the 99 one also had Red Hot Chili Pepper, but it also had Kid Rock, Counting Crows, Bush, Limp Bizkit, looting and rape

That album rocks so hard. Gotta say, though. I saw Primus a number of years ago and the show was kinda meh. He'd stop halfway through a song to launch into another song and only finished up two or three of them. Love their music, but yeesh.

Claypool also played a snippet of the Star Spangled Banner on bass during Woodstock 94 and ended with "haha I always wanted to do that"

I was at '99, Primus wasn't there. Also Les did try out to replace Cliff, but legend has it he was kicked out after he asked if they wanted to jam to some Allman Bros.

These headlines really only work when greenlit IF they also greenlight the other referenced post. And, no, it's not worth $5 to see which Level 42 clip they are talking about.

Fun Fact: According to Les's banter at the Bonnaroo Superjam this year, Kirk Hammett used to sell him weed in high school.

/Calls him "hamster"

I like rape.

Godscrack: They did it better than Metallica.

Dumbass, this was a fun novelty version. I'm guessing you would have said the same thing if they played it on kazoo.
