That headline summed up the article nicely, subby.

Too bad the writer kept going...

FTA: "Cuban Punk Rocker's Bum Rap"

The Article's headline beat yours, subby.

/How much would the fine be if he had praised Fidel's skill in said sex acts?

Wow. Seriously, that is tremendous progress, actually. At one time, he might have been put to death, or at least imprisoned indefinitely. Changes are coming.

/went to Cuba in April
//great people

$28 is two years' salary in Cuba, so that's a pretty stiff punishment.

I thought it was the GDP of Cuba . . .

Just goes to show you that Cuba is a more free, less repressive society than the US.

Or so I have read on liberal forums.

I'll pony up another $28 if he'll sing it again!

It is a bit surprising, but it's probably due to all the media attention. If he were an anti-Bush punk rocker, he'd have won a Grammy by now.

I came in to say that's a shiat load of money in Cuba.

Castro could probably use the protein.

MCStymie 2008-09-05 02:01:09 PM
Actually, the term "fined $28" is a codephrase for "tortured to death".

I would say that he's lucky to still have his brain...

But he is a Cuban, in Cuba, saying that Castro likes the cock. So he may be without in the first place.

There's only one way to settle this. Airlift biological punk rock supermutant Regis Rollins in to free the Cuban freedom of expression, while Castro is weakened with a bad case of punky sass.

This feckin' city - is Bay of Pigs!
They take the innuendo from, wanna-be Stivs!
Understand, we're fighting a war, we can't win.
They hate us, we hate Kathie Lee. We can't win, no WAY!
Come on Notre Dame!

Nothing I do, nada I say.
I tell them to smoke a flauta del carne - they put me away!

I host gameshows - all the time!
Hold the line, phone a friend, use your lifeline!
Understand, were fighting cigars, we can't win.
They hate us - we hate Joey Bishopm we can't win
But hey, whatever happened to Che?

What do they know about A Regis Rollins Christmas Album? Or anything else!

TFA: Yet last week in Cuba, Aguila, 39, was jailed on a charge of "pre-crime social dangerousness," a law used against those considered dangerous to the revolution.

Cuban security officials subdued Aguila with sick sticks and a halo before shoving him into the back of a flying squad car.
