This guy's using his illusion a little too much...

Want in one hand, shart in the other. Which fills up first?

As a side effect of some medication I'm taking, I've experienced some anal leakage. I'm trying to set up ua website to help defray my medical costs, but can't find a host. Anybody willing to help?

Cause if there's one thing file sharers love to do, it's give people their money.

You hit the nail on the head there. Karma doesn't translate well in the realm of file sharing.

Hahaha. I love when smart-allecky hide-behind-their-keyboard nerds get a nose heaping dose of reality in the package. I hope it was worth being almost cool for a split second. It kinda reminds me of when hippies get beat with batons. Or when that Florida kid got tasered by campus police: "Don't tase me, bro!"

MrMetlHed 2008-09-03 05:36:43 PM
It's not like Axl ever planned on releasing the songs anyway.

GungFu 2008-09-03 05:37:21 PM
ooops.

jail time; criminal record; no money; but hey, you leaked some songs on the net...

you must be so proud, er..whatever your name is.

Donate to a losing cause, I don't think so.

FreeLoveFreeway 2008-09-03 05:55:19 PM
If Axl planned on ever releasing that album, he wouldn't have said it's called "Chinese Democracy" for the past 12 years.

/The song at the 2002 MTV video awards was great.
//Buckethead tore it up.

Welcome to the Jungle, kid. This ain't Paradise City. If you showed a little Patience and waited for the album to come out, you wouldn't be some dude in prison Sweet Child o Mine, come the November Rain.

Anal leakage would have sounded better.

Mr Cogill: Plead no contest and work out some $$ amount (I'd be curious to know exactly how much the RIAA values songs you can't actually buy) and leave the lawyers out of it. As long as there is no proof you made money off sharing the songs, I'd throw you a few bucks to pay towards a reasonable fine, but I won't give anything that will end up in lawyers' pockets. And, no I didn't get the opportunity to hear those songs while they were up, so I wouldn't be involved in some "indirectly" paying for them scheme.

Does anybody know if the nine songs were any good?

They weren't spectacular, but they weren't terrible either.

IRS was ok, but Better was the best one on the album. Which isn't saying that much.

I think it's fair enough to ask, but he shouldn't expect anything, as I Like Bread explained so well.

milo_rules 2008-09-03 08:30:13 PM
I think I might actually be willing to pay him NOT to release the songs.

Music file sharers that get caught seem to always have poor taste in music (eg today's GNR, Metallica, etc.)

The 2nd solo on Better was pretty good actually, I dunno if it was Frink or Buckethead that actually laid that one down. IRS soft of stuck in my head for awhile. There Was A Time was decent as well. The rest of it...I couldn't tell you a thing about, they just slid right through my brain.

About the same as Death Magnetic, which, coincidentally, was leaked today.

Hehe...a fellow evacuee and I were driving around Memphis today when we heard the title of the new Metallica album. All I could think was, "That's a badass title...for a 1988 album."

That said, I'd like to dl it on general principle, then immediately delete it.

I know this jackass. He's ripped people off with 'donate money for my legal fees!' scams before.

I say let him rot.

...and they are showing him so much love and support. From the comments:

Try not to grunt or whimper too much when Bubba bends you over the jail bunk- it makes him angry."

exactly. nothing to start a Civil War over. I'm sure he can find some Mr. Brownstone in prison and ride the Night Train all night long. just don't take too much or you might be Knockin' on Heaven's Door. if only he'd had this advice Yesterday.
/this is fun

Ditto. C'mon people seed it seed it seed it!!
Do you SEE how many seeders there are on this? Excellent!

/going to buy some spindles of discs so I can hand out copies

I bought Guns N Roses last album, if anything they should have been in jail for stealing from the public. If you really think your losing all your money from people downloading and not from the cost of paying off the people that prop you up then just tour more.

Unless you suck and then put one good song on the radio to sell 15 fast made turds along with it on CD.
