"It's a sickness is what it is," Ron Leese joked. "I don't go fishing. I don't go hunting. I hunt this stuff. It's the thrill of the hunt."

I'm betting this guy was a parent's delight as a child, easily
entertaining himself...

If you are a member of the Rolling Rock Fan Club and the bar you are at has it on tap, show your card and you get a free pint.

It's not the greatest of beers but free is free!

Not unlike my "8 or 9 more beers I shouldn't have drank" collection,
that covers every inch inch of my mattress.

And alphabetized cans on the shelves! This man is truly dedicated.

That's so condescending that--oh, what do I care? I never even look at Maxim.

This, or something exactly like it was on TV a few weeks back. TFA does a good job in attempting to describe the scope of the collection - it occupies almost the entire house, multi shelves, stuff stacked floor to ceiling with aisles no more than a foot wide.

One place I lived in for 7 years, I collected beer cans and bottles that I had drunk the contents of. When I moved I filled a pick-up truck bed with them and took them to the recycler. All that was gained was a deeper appreciation of the delights of beer.

At the moment appreciating a Henry Weinhards IPA. Worth a try.

I toured the Yuengling brewery back in 1984. At the end of the tour my Dad and I drank free beer for 3 hours in the brewery bar. A very fond, beer fogged memory.

I'm not sure I would want my wife to approve of such a collection... I mean, as bad as she is, she does ground me in reality at times.

According to the article they missed the BCCA convention in Texas this year. Probably because it was in Orlando this weekend.

If he specializes in PA beer, why didn't I see any Iron City? Or Olde Frothingslosh? Or Stoney's? Or Tube City?

Great. Now all the scrap metal thieves in the US are homing in on his guys house. Beer cans are like gold, well, except for a few less protons. And neutrons. Electrons. Whatever.

Say Mr. Reporter! What about some GPS coordinates?

Here's to you Mr. Beer Memorabillia Collector guy. With your beer can covered walls and your fishing string safety cables.

Open an ice cold one and sit back enjoying your collection only you can admire.

"All of the Words on a Bottle of Rolling Rock Beer in a Different Order"

by Demetri Martin

Women, your ability to operate
extra tender
springs from birth.
Good machinery comes
as your contents
cause enjoyment.
Cash, beer, a car ... rock and rolling?
During "it", the general warning:
"We may risk pregnancy
according to old problems."
Your refund from the government
for alcoholic beverages?
Not OK.
Refund this premium, beer surgeon,
because premium beer impairs taste.
A drink-to the tribute of health, to the pale alcoholic.
Rolling, glass tanks of beverages rock this lined mountain.
Should the defects
of consumption
drive me ...
Or you?

A buddy of mine did the same thing in Michigan (with his wife's approval). His house became a museum for Michigan-based beer items.

Visit his website at www.mi-brew.com and enjoy what he collected (and the wealth of information this man possessed).

RIP Gary.
