I think I read recently that the average Brit has better teeth than the average American. The idea of the "Brit with bad teeth" probably comes from the WWII generation, where most likely the last doctors to come back after being bombed to smithereens were the dentists.

Also, a few states don't like the idea of putting fluoride in the water because of all the mind control agents the CIA puts in it.
