Dude deciding whether to let that whore Edith with the hot just turned 18 son but whose brownies taste like ass over that skank Mildred sell her award winning and sure to bring sales apple pie at this year's bake sale is serious business.

Textbooks come to mind. A lot of PTAs work on selecting textbooks to recommend to the school board. Those suckers ain't cheap. I guess Vending Machine operators might count as well. Hell, any company that supplies goods and/or services to the schools might come under the umbrella of "Special Interests".

Most school boards listen to the PTAs input in varying degrees.

He and the McCain sons are in the military. One of Biden's is too, but those Obama children are too un-American to serve their country.

Is it possible that he didn't want to subject his daughter to the same kind of Rovian bullshiat from 2000? The illegitimate black child flyers?

Ah. So, another dumbass that couldn't keep out of the meatgrinder, eh? I mean, it's not like it's honorable to go at this point - we all know we're just fanning the flames of terrorism with our presence, and the Iraqis themselves want us to leave. You might even say it's unpatriotic to go to Iraq these days - you're using up precious resources that could be used in Afghanistan and reinforcing the poor economic policies of two countries - both the US and Iraq.

School probably started this week, my thoughts are that these People images were kind of spur of the moment and she wasn't around. Her dad already announced his candidacy. His VP choice probably wasn't a big enough deal to have her skipping school for it.

She hasn't been in ANY campaign pictures for the length of the campaign. Did the 2008-2009 school year in AZ start 18 months ago?

I can't believe his name is farking "Track". Palin is such a tool. What kind of douchebag names their kid after a sport for high-strung, awkwardly-proportioned adolescents? That's just asking for trouble.

Palin isn't shy of talking about her kid going to Iraq. That shouldn't be important- I think regardless of your politics, as a parent you damn well better. But unfortunately, like with many things that we'll be exposed to between now and November, that's yet another thing (like drilling ANWR, denying anthropogenic warming) that she and McCain severely disagree on. I'm beginning to wonder why he didn't just pick Lieberman, as Joe doesn't appear to contradict him nearly as badly despite his record to the contrary.

Palin gets a break for her son. McCain and his adopted daughter? Yeah, not so much. I've never seen anyone running for office who doesn't have their kids with them at least here and there, maybe once a month.

I support the ticket as can be seen in many threads, but DAMN did Cindy have to open her mouth at the Diaper comment? All those damn McCain Depends jokes flashed through my mind... That was just stepping on a land mine right there.

And Snow, he chose Palin *Because* she disagrees with him; why do you think his base was luke warm before the choice? Could it be because Leiberman and McCain agreed more than McCain and a Conservative?

Given her young age and relatively short resume, why is she any more ready to be president than Sen. Barack Obama?
JOHN: I don't think it's a short resume. She first ran for office back in 1992. I don't know what Senator Obama was doing then, but the first time she ran was 1992. That's 16 years. I think that's a pretty, pretty event-filled and record-filled resume.

Obama was doing much, just teaching Constitutional Law at one of the most prestigious universities in the country. But hey, I guess that obviously doesn't stack up to a city council seat in a town of 5,000 people.

This is just farking ridiculous.

Is this photo a photoshop adding the two families together or was it taken in Ohio after the announcement? That would make a huge difference to me in relation to my faux moral outrage.

Not only that, but the year before he was at Harvard Law and the editor of the Law Review. She was on the PTA.
