The Mayan calender does not predict the end of the world and you are an idiot if you think it does.

It does predict the end of the mayan calendar, which means a new cycle.

Now, the end of the world? Not likely. The end of the Western Civilization? With all the shennanigans going on right now, I honestly don't know.

CygnusDarius

Sure, it's the end of the calender. I guarantee we'll see much more talk about the world's end as that date approaches. Find a way to profit off of people's fears concerning this.

How can we get them to end the world if they can't even fit inside the building? The temple has to be at least...3 times bigger!

The weird thing is, Aztecs needed to stun people instead of killing them in battle, so they could sacrifice them.

Well, if it ends up being the end of the world, I guess I might run this campaign setting before I kick the bucket:

Don't worry about the calendar thing, the change over is much like when our calendar went from 1999 to 2000. It wasn't the end of the world at all, the New Agers are just Mayaning it for all the money they can make off of the easily mislead.

Our earth is degenerate in these latter days. There are signs that the world is speedily coming to an end. Bribery and corruption are common. Children no longer obey their parents. What is becoming of our young people? They disrespect their elders, they disobey their parents. They ignore the law. They riot in the streets inflamed with wild notions. Their morals are decaying.

Laugh, ye profane, and swell and burst
With bold impiety;
Yet shall ye live for ever curs'd
and seek in vain to die.

The gasp of your expiring breath
Cosigns your soul to chains
By the last agonies of death
Sent down to fiercer pains.

REPENT BEFORE THE END OF TRIBULATIONS

Apparently these archaeologists have not been heard from for a while. Their last communication mentioned something about a strange plant and some rather belligerent locals.

Yep. I'm definitely the scientist hopping off the last step. Everyone deals with death in their own way. I'm fine in becoming worm food. And I don't believe in a soul.

Mayans, Aztecs, Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Taoists, Animists, Agnostics, Atheists, etc., etc., etc.

What were we talking about?

Oh wait...there's a disturbance in the Fourth River in Pittsburgh!

Whoops!

Sorry, someone dropped a melon at a local farmer's market.

It ends in Ibiza.
