Iggy Pop is a demigod.

I remember listening to "1970" at full blast in my buddy's hot rod '69 Malibu, and coming to within a hair of center-punching an ambulance on a Los Angeles boulevard. Did NOT hear the siren. Nailed the brakes, cleared the ambulance, punched the gas. Iggy singing:
I FEEL ALRIGHT!
I FEEL ALRIGHT!
