Seriously. What the fark?

If thats all you've got to direct your anger at, consider yourself lucky.

That was weird.

Thanks, Subby. Nothing like laughing until you cry to end your day. Such wonderful gems as:

Encyclopedia Britannica offers NO PROOF for a rotating earth!!

dewars-rocks [TotalFark] 2008-08-23 01:46:27 PM
I knew, given long enough, TF would provide me with my new homepage.

Viva La Reformation!

Smell the Glove [TotalFark] 2008-08-23 01:46:55 PM
That doesn't make me even a little angry. The music I could have done without but that was pretty easy to silence.

I'm actually a little disappointed. I was expecting so much more cross eyed rage and website insanity.

Have to drill down a bit, but there's a gem there:

http://www.reformation.org/ground-zero.html (new window)

Not only was 9/11 an inside job, the towers were NUKED. Yeah baby!

Benevolent Misanthrope [TotalFark] 2008-08-23 01:51:53 PM
Trying... must... summon... outrage.... NNNNNNNGGGGGHHHH....

Nope, not angry. Not even a little. Actually, I feel pretty-much nothing. So, there's an idiot out there with a website. <shrug>

Next?

rajin5b3 [TotalFark] 2008-08-23 02:02:10 PM
At this point, I'm jaded enough that most examples of human stupidity get no more then a shrug.

But this site was so full of fail that I couldn't help but LOL.

Not sure whether it's more funny if it was intended as satire or if the author was serious.

Either way, its comedy gold.

Weaver95 [TotalFark] 2008-08-23 02:07:28 PM
If by 'angry' you mean 'apathetic' then yes, you are correct.

Coronach 2008-08-23 02:08:59 PM
This'll be fun on the main page.

DaWormyPimpsta [TotalFark] 2008-08-23 02:09:11 PM
meh.

Intarwebs are full of over/under-educated morons who lost the ability for cognitive thought decades ago but still have enough neurons left to form complete sentences and manipulate the keys on your average computer keyboard.

Place is full of people dumber than a bag of hair. Just point at them, laugh and move on.

Weaver95 [TotalFark] 2008-08-23 02:11:39 PM
Coronach: This'll be fun on the main page.

The only ones who could possibly be offended by that site are the thin skinned insecure teenage asshats who pretend to be atheists 'cause they think it's 'edgy' and gives them a built in excuse to be offened.

I think normal, sane people will just shrug their shoulders and go back to playing solitare.

Yesdog [TotalFark] 2008-08-23 02:12:42 PM

LOL

An embedded MIDI file? That's just quaint right there.

Now what these people need is a holiday in Cabotia.

Yesdog: Angry? That was delightfully whimsical!

I concur. In fact, my chief regret is not having a thespian in a top hat to read the text for me.

timujin [TotalFark] 2008-08-23 02:16:09 PM
I'm not angry, I'm just looking for clues that it's a parody site. I mean, it can't be serious, can it? That's just too awesome for words. I can't stop giggling.

jaylectricity [TotalFark] 2008-08-23 02:21:20 PM
I clicked the link on the second page titled: The Civil War is not over.

Made some valid points such as, (paraphrasing because I already closed the window) The confederates were forced to stop fighting because they couldn't get help from Great Britain, and a war isn't won unless the enemy is completely annihilated to the ground. If they are not, they WILL come back to fight again.

Yodacat 2008-08-23 02:21:43 PM
As your resident "failmitter" of this "alleged" website. I have let you in on my "secret". It's not a "parody"... I stumbled upon it years ago, and recently found it again. And it "appears" that "they" update it fairly often. There "is" no hint of humor here, except from those of "us" that... you know... "think".

VictoryCabal [TotalFark] 2008-08-23 02:22:23 PM
That website is way too well laid out and coherent to be considered that crazy. Sure, it's crazy, but there is way more crazy out there.

Even better--there's an article on the site called Lies and Fallacies of the Encyclopedia Britannica

Denounce a source as unreliable in one article, then use same source to disprove arguments in another. Wow, the circular logic employed by that site is making my head spin.

Honestly... I can't even figure out what they are for or against! I'm thinking they're hardling baptists. But... why would there be a conspiracy theory about a rotating earth? Where's step 3? Conspiracies only work if there's a step 3...

FYL: One of the most basic laws in the universe is the Second Law of Thermodynamics. This states that as time goes by, entropy in an environment will increase. Evolution argues differently against a law that is accepted EVERYWHERE BY EVERYONE. Evolution says that we started out simple, and over time became more complex. That just isn't possible: UNLESS there is a giant outside source of energy supplying the Earth with huge amounts of energy. If there were such a source, scientists would certainly know about it. Now you've made me click the stupid thing again. I guess I'm still missing the over usage of single word quotes but if that's what you were getting at then I retract my snark.

Much like your "Heliocentric" solar system theory, I haven't seen it, therefore, I don't believe it.

/I don't usually respond so much to my own articles. But I'm drunk, and this is my first GL in months. So shutup.

"sacred" "infidel" "holy" "Christianity" "church" and "faithful" until it all devolves into:

"The Muslim scholar, Dr. Muhammad Hamidullah (1908-2002), in his book, Introduction to Islam, states that "the custodian and repository of the original teachings of Islam" are found "above all in the Quran and the Hadith" (p. 250). To this he adds that "the Quran and the Hadith" are "the basis of all [Islamic] law" (p. 163).

Don't you think that the comment about the 2nd law and the sun was just clumsy parody? Do you really think that the person who wrote it doesn't know about the sun?

If you're laughing because you think it's a genuine comment, I'd say the joke's on you.

Ah Weaver, I don't know if we've ever talked. But a thread's not a thread until you show up. Thanks for ruining my shiat sandwich.

Also, guy who's name i didn't care to remember, look them up. They've been around, and updating a looong time to be a parody. Just imagine Drudge, only worse.

/for really reals, last post in this thread. You folks can talk it out.

A lot of people don't know the relation between 'heat' 'light' and 'energy'... Sounded like a teenager to me.

You should go to some of those 'real' christian forums... The comments are too frequent and frequently defended to be troll-fu. All though I'm sure some of it is 'parody'.

Hey man, you guys say some stupid shiat, folks have Poe's Law for a reason. No one is even sure if you're legit, but that hasn't stopped people from submitting your inane bullshiat either.
