What's that? Oh.

C'mon. Obama is a natural born citizen. It's plainly obvious he's eligle for the presidency because he has a birth record with his name on it.

Short answer: it'll be thrown out.

Long answer: Somebody from the Obama team will have to get a copy of his birth certificate, and then it'll be thrown out.

/Seriously? Canada is now involved in this too?

3. What was the early childhood of Obama in Hawaii; in Kenya; in Indonesia when he was adopted; and later, back to Hawaii?

Thank GOD he filed a lawsuit about this. Obama's bio is definitely something we need to litigate in court. It's not like this hasn't been rehashed to death in his book and by the media.

He's got an email address on there... should we Fark him back into the Stone Age?

ProdigalSigh 2008-08-23 10:05:39 AM
This guy was on an AM radio broadcast as I drove from Milwaukee to Indianapolis this morning, one of his "pieces of evidence" was that Wikipedia English and Wikipedia Italian list different hospitals in Hawaii where Obama was born.

Yeah, seriously.

The host asked him if he would ever believe Obama could prove his citizenship, and his reply was basically, "I'm a lawyer!"

It seems to be a fairly important question, however unlikely the negative outcome. What type of investigative diligence is generally done regarding a case regarding a question of birth place?

In this case is the birth certificate ample proof? As the birth was apparently in a hospital, those records should easily confirm the authenticity as well as the records of the OBGYN. It would seem an easy thing to confirm, with the permission of the patients - Mr Obama and Mr Obama's mother.

Well, if dingleberries like this are any indication of the insufferable Nobama movement and their temper tantrums, the Democrats will continue their streak of failing to get into office while the Republican will continue their tradition of failing once they get into office.

glutton 2008-08-23 10:22:50 AM
I love that whenever someone is making an action in court against someone else, they always include the PDFs of the case files to make their argument look less batshiat insane. It's like they expect people to think "oohhh this was filed in court. it must mean SOMETHING."

I'm looking at you, Larry Sinclair (aka Fatty Tuna Douche).

This guy just brings stupid to an art form

As one who has been in this situation before. If you are dying for a good cheesecake nothing will suffice but cheesecake. However cream cheese, sugar and bisquick can make a decent cheesecake pancake that can stave off death for a few months.

The timing on this is stupid. This should've been done months ago.

I did not realize she was dead. Can a dead person assert patient doctor privilege? Either way, Senator Obama was the patient and can easily approve the release of those records.

Stupid farks.

If they so badly wanted to dictate terms on who would be the VP, then they should have won the nomination and not run a campaign that will serve as a textbook example to future generations on how not to run a campaign.

The plaque for the alternates is down in the ladies room, as well it should be.

This lawsuit will cease to be an issue.

There is one little catch, though:

Obama must paint his face (and/or chest) and cheer for the devil(s).

Remember, this wackjob faces the burden of proof. And if he doesn't have anything more substantial than the Italian Wikipedia, any judge that would allow this to go forward should be disbarred immediately for allowing political motivations to cloud their judgment.

At this point, Obama doesn't really have to do anything to prove he's an American- it's PUMA boy's job to prove he's not. However, Obama's attorneys will likely bring in a bunch of evidence to crush this now, just to save time and money.

starsrift: The dual citizenship thing will pose more problems than the where-was-he-born thing.

Why do you think so? It wasn't an issue for Lieberman.

starsrift 2008-08-23 10:54:00 AM
Now That's What I Call a Taco!:

Ah, oh, Mr. Wackjob faces burden of proof, not the other way around.
And here I was, wondering WTF they were going to need, every courthouse in Kenya, Indonesia, and Canada(WTF Canada???) to perform a records search to ensure that B. HUSSEIN O. doesn't have citizenship?
Nevermind, then. :)

Once again the real issues will be brushed aside for a bit, as we watch the circus roll into town. Most of us will sit on the sidelines, slack jawed. We can relax and view the slide down to 2nd/3rd world status .

Education, Drop-out rates, Healthcare, Trade, Jobs, Enviroment, Immigration....and all the other items, will be examined as closely as trash in the gutter, from a speeding car.

The usual suspects will amble into the big top, looking around in wonder at all the shiny stuff the PAC's/Corporate sponserships have brought to the party.

Excuse the pharma induced rant, feeling a bit like the hillbilly chick that Sienfeld was dating " Its all so much fluff.

I don't read a whole bunch of suit filings, but of those I have read this one is hands down the most juvenile and amateurish.

That guy's an attorney?! Apparently, the PA Bar exam is a game of "Where's Waldo".
