Chinese authorities are investigating the incident

By investigating, they mean getting the tank out of the garage.

I like how he did this for publicity of something and yet from both the article, these comments, and the photo, we still have no idea what it was he was trying to promote.

Athens, 2004: Tutu man gets five months for Olympic plunge

ATHENS, Greece - A tutu-clad Canadian who jumped into the Olympic diving pool after a competition was convicted Wednesday of interrupting the games and sentenced to five months in jail. He was released pending an appeal.

Ron Bensimhon, 31, of Montreal, jumped off the 3-meter springboard at the diving venue Monday night wearing a blue tutu and white tights with polka dots.

The equestrian events are in Hong Kong, so they'll probably just ship him home (if he isn't there already) on the next flight of rubber dog shiat.

Already Disturbed: Shouldn't be an olympic sport/competition anyway.

Excuse me sir, but your ignorance is showing. It takes strength, balance, and incredible coordination to handle one of those horses, and that's just the physical demands. Then there's the keen eye for a distance, freakishly accurate sense of timing/pace and the ability to ride a horse to an insanely tight turn to a 5.0 - 6.5 ft jump and clear it.
Plus the horse outweighs the average rider by about 8:1. Which means that you have to do all this without pissing the horse off or letting it get out of control. It takes years of painstaking care just to start a horse over fences, and just as long to bring one up from the level 1 jumpers to the level 8s/grand prix caliber.

so let's see you attempt this:

FYI: the jump standards (things at the sides) are at least 6'.

/spent my summer working + showing in level 1s
/trust me, jumper riders make football players look like hypochondriacs when it comes to physical toughness

This. I ride, and the one time I tried beginner hunter/jumper, I suddenly realized that I need to go back to trail riding with my pretty ponies and stay in the western arena.

And that video was hilarious.

PICS of girlfriend or she isn't hotter...let us be the judge...man who gets bj is biased!

Matrix Flavored Wasabi 2008-08-23 03:15:07 PM
True, there is a pic of me, her, and another friend in my profile.

But yeah, I'm definitely biased (she lurks around here sometimes too...), I'll freely admit to that.

I can't say I remember taking that picture

Gold star for Twist. From a favorite message board of mine, an explanation to a clueless doctor why riding really is physical work:

Imagine you're sitting on a big physio ball. Now imagine the ball is bouncing. 12' long bounces. You have to stay on, but you can't stay on by squeezing hard with your legs because that makes the ball bounce faster, further and higher. You don't get to let your feet touch the ground. You can't let your legs or your arms move around much because that makes the ball mad and it might suddenly pop, but you can't lock your arms or your legs because that makes the ball mad too. Sometimes without any warning whatsoever, the ball suddenly starts bouncing sideways or in 14' long bounces or in 8' bounces. Sometimes all at the same time. To make the ball slow down or stop bouncing, you have to pull on something with your arms, but you have to keep your back supple and not locked while you do it, and you can't pitch forward. Try that for half an hour and tell me how you feel.

And that's just trotting. Not cantering, not steering, not jumping, not managing anything from a practical standpoint. Just staying on.

Try it, biatches. Once you're done picking the grass from your teeth and wiping the dirt from your face, I'll listen to your comments on how easy it is.

zetawill 2008-08-23 03:26:34 PM
BJ's are making your head foggy, but I bet she rides good!

Matrix Flavored Wasabi 2008-08-23 03:32:17 PM
She could easily jump 4.5' or more fences, but then college got out of the way. And I still say she's hotter, but also because I've seen her in better things than a crummy t-shirt.

/there's something awesome about a girl that can wear crummy clothes and still look good
//I have a feeling I misphrased something somewhere and I hope to God she doesn't see it...not to mention she hates that picture. I'm not really willing to put up others for a e-penis measuring contest though
///you're talking about a different kind of riding, aren't you

I still in love with an Dressage person. She explained it as "controlling an 1800 lb animal with only subtle movments of her calves and thighs"

She missed the '76 Olympics due to political problems between governments. Her horse also tragically died enroute to Spain for the world event?

DO NOT arm wrestle this woman, She is the most physically fit human I have EVER known.

I believe I read somewhere that Dressage was a military origin. Controlling the horse while being able to command troops?

/HEELS DOWN!! damn it!

Jackie Kinney is a friend of mine and I still treasure her.

Whatever you do, if she is on top during sex, agree to it. She can hurt you. those women do NOT need to do any "keggeling (sp)" exercises.

Taking them to restaurants after a long training day will hurt your wallet. Damn! They can eat a lot after their exercise regimen.

Insanely dedicated women that will go into a burning barn to rescue horses before they come and get you.

/Cool pic on your profile. Be aware, they CAN kick your ass without breaking a sweat.

//Fine looking ladies, treat them well. They know more about taking care of another lifeform that the most dedicated parent of a human child.

///They probably have their farrier on speed dial and spend more money on the horse shoeing than they spend on their own shoes.

Kinky... I dated a girl who had a horse once, but she never tried to make me wear a bridle.
