Someone needs to photoshop McCain as Captain America with his trusty POW shield, able to protect Captain McCain from any and all attack, and even using it as a weapon of its own.

I would love to stop mentioning how out of touch McCain is to people when I talk politics.

I would love to debate serious issues in serious ways.

What really amazes me is that he's done a total 180 since attacking Wesley Clark for pointing out the obvious. Back then, the McCain people were claiming (falsely) that they didn't use his service as a political crutch. Now, they're not even having pretenses about it.

Michael Franc of the conservative Heritage Foundation think tank said the dispute could damage McCain. "He may come across as detached from reality. How can he talk about strains on the family budget when he doesn't know how many homes he has?"

Non-story. Clearly the Heritage Foundation has a liberal bias.
