I saw Pat Benatar collapse unconscious during "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" back in 1980. Supposedly from "exhaustion."

Pat Green. I've occasionally had the urge to knock him out myself. He's the homeless man's Robert Earl.

"Green performed Saturday night at the Michigan International Speedway after NASCAR's Carfax 250 race."

A classy crowd indeed. I wonder if the brew was a Coors Light.

Country Music, NASCAR, and "cans" of beer...

I mean c'mon the odds of someone getting knocked out or were like 1 in 1.

What kind of farking stadium lets you bring cans of beer into an event? Hell, you can't even bring bottled water inside Yankee Stadium, and people have cans of beer, even in a NASCAR event? The thrower must've been a terrorist.

I remember when Travis Tritt quit singing "Here's a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares)" because they pelted him with loose change until he bled.

Reading the article, it didn't list the stadiums' name. It would have to be a HUGE stadium for all those cars to go racing around at speeds well over 100 mph.

Pat has some damn good music, most before he tried to go commercial, but it's still good.

The David Bowie/lollipop incident still ranks a personal favorite. I'm a tremendous fan of the guy, but damn was that hysterical.

I was thinking Busch or Keystone. Coors Light is way too classy for that crowd.

Okay, here we go...

Too bad after he got hit, he couldn't carry on. Oh well, we've all got our reasons. Who's to say?

Good thing it was just beer, and not whiskey. But you gotta know that hurt anyway.

The same thing happened during a show my old band played some months back, only our frontman never asked for a beer.

Wow, that's a really long song title. I just don't get country music.

filth: Pat Green. I've occasionally had the urge to knock him out myself. He's the homeless man's Robert Earl.

I was thinking something very similar. It bugs me when people throw crap at stages though... why ruin the equipment because you don't like the singer (because it's almost always the singer who gets nailed... nobody ever wants to brain the drummer. Well, unless it's a Cowboy Mouth show) and wasting beer (even if it is Natty Lite or Icehouse) is retarded.

Isn't this the same guy who got his arse whipped on the beach in South Padre?
