I'm not sure that the classic-era Allmans fit the definition of "bands who usually sing." I don't have Eat A Peach and Fillmore East in front of me, but I can easily think of several tunes off both albums that are flat-out instrumentals (and stuff like "Blue Sky," which is an honorary instrumental). Still, "Jessica" is a great tune regardless of how you slice it.

Teenage Fanclub is great. I forget why I downloaded their stuff about six months ago, I still haven't figured it out, but man every new song is just delicious.

Plus I think a *few* words shouldn't disqualify a song from 'instrumental' status. Anyway, point being that Genesis have plenty of better instrumentals than The Brazilian (although, admittedly, I enjoy the song a lot).

I would say after hearing The Main Monkey Business, that may very well be my favorite Rush instrumental... but La Villa Strangiato is a very close second.

The great thing about Orion (and Call) is that Metallica is at it's peak at the time they were made.

The Brazilian was my favorite track on Invisible Touch... the last "record" I ever bought.

I'm partial to Roxy Music's "Tara", particularly the longer version they played on their reunion tour.
