Best campaign ad I've seen in a long time.

Well done. Too bad more political ads aren't like that.

Neeek [TotalFark] 2008-08-17 03:45:26 PM
Good, but they should have had him voice over the "reclaim the Rhode Island economy" bit. He sounded winded and slurred a bit.

KyngNothing [TotalFark] 2008-08-17 04:05:31 PM
Could you introduce me to the "Runaway budget" ladies?

I would vote for you then!

// Note: You will have to pay me to move to RI in time to vote.

Also, if anyone is feeling generous, we are doing a $6.15 Fundrace.

Tell me it's a sponsored link ;)

You run pretty fast for a portly fellow.

Neeek: He sounded winded and slurred a bit.

He's a farker. I can't imagine why he might sound that way.

i was a bit disappointed. nice girls to start with - i liked that. but then it looked to me like the guy giving it legs was carrying a penguin. just as i am trying to work out whether he was saving or stealing the penguin, i see it's not a penguin. now i'm left wondering what you've got against penguins?

Magruda 2008-08-17 04:27:25 PM
I never knew the best way to fix the economy is to tackle some dude in a mask. Lets just hope they don't buy into Segways.

Would be awesome of one of our trolls would run. Those debates would rule.

/next time stay off the grass. It's not easy for them immigrants to get it so green.

Wight Power [TotalFark] 2008-08-17 04:28:54 PM
I'll take a fun political ad over an attack ad any day. That was good :)

The only oddity I noticed was that you took off your glasses in order to chase after the guy, but in the next scene it appears you're wearing them again.

Overall good! :D

EchoMike [TotalFark] 2008-08-17 04:33:05 PM
I'm surprised big boy could run like that without getting winded.

Am I the only one astonished that Rhode Island has 15 districts?

Nabb1 [TotalFark] 2008-08-17 04:36:18 PM
I guess it worked, because you convinced me to donate, and I've never even been to Rhode Island. Good luck.

Oh, and if you lose, I want my money back.

Argh2 2008-08-17 04:39:15 PM
Awesome. But it needed a car chase, one that passed by all the famous Rhode Island landmarks, like Peter Griffin's house in Quohog.

SpinStopper [TotalFark] 2008-08-17 04:41:33 PM
Is Rhode Island so tiny that their entire budget will fit in one bag?

FuzzyNoNoseChimp: Am I the only one astonished that Rhode Island has 15 districts?

I think each district is what most of us would call a city block ;)

Bacontastesgood 2008-08-17 04:41:36 PM
FuzzyNoNoseChimp: Am I the only one astonished that Rhode Island has 15 districts?

State House. RI has two districts for the US House.

Frappier for Rep Introduction

Looks like a job for a coffee-milk drinking, suit wearing, burglar tackling liberal.

You know you're the third farker I've run into who's running for office and the only one to get a hilarious campaign ad. Clearly you have a lot going for you. However, I've noticed that you're also the only one of the three lacking my genius political advisory, which I'd be totally willing to offer, no charge. I can't say how much help I'd be, but I'm intensely interested in getting Farker's elected.

Think about it.

Craptastic 2008-08-17 04:44:55 PM
Chrisfap? No thanks.

Judging by the two girls in the crowd there, i'd say he has a majority vote already.

Courtney Cox-Zucker [TotalFark] 2008-08-17 04:48:06 PM
I'm sure you'll have the BearToy constituency wrapped up.

Neeek [TotalFark] 2008-08-17 04:50:25 PM
FuzzyNoNoseChimp: Am I the only one astonished that Rhode Island has 15 districts?

It has a lot more than 15. The Rhode Island lower house has 75 members, and the upper has 38. New Hampshire has 400, which is something like one for every 3000 people.

1. What the hell did you say at the end? "Weflm bluncomina.." Take the marbles out of your mouth, jeesh.

2. The music, Carmina Burana. Carl Orff composed this in the mid 1930's. He died in 1982 but his estate still owns the rights to the music. IOW - Carmina Burana is NOT public domain and Orff's estate is VERY litigious!

3. How's your budget doing now, marble mouth?

Yeah, I'm sure his budget will be ruined if he receives a cease and desist letter. Horrors!

Nice use of O Fortuna, but I agree with Neeek -- They should have cut the "running sound" during the chase and done a voice over at the end.

I don't get it, why is this on here? Did he fark a 2 year old?

Whose bribes were those he just stomped on? Because the people that payed for those funds to begin with are gonna be pissed.

POAC [TotalFark] 2008-08-17 06:08:49 PM
He has chosen to run as an Independent candidate because he feels that partisan politics has held the state in an intellectual and financial gridlock for far too long.

Good for you! I wish you the best of luck.

Relatively Obscure [TotalFark] 2008-08-17 06:10:08 PM
It's just like Chris Frappier not to outline any specifics or policy positions, and instead just mutter nonsense about "Hope" and bags of change and stepping on guys littler than him. The truth is that he has NO experience and can't be trusted to represent District 15. And let's not even get into his dubious associations on racist, misogynist websites like Fark.com.

I'd say he's nothing more than an empty suit, but I think he takes those bags of cash to the buffet.

/Not serious.
//Seriously. Not serious.

Simpsons did it.

jgi 2008-08-17 06:49:23 PM
Chris Frappier, a Frenchman, is just another tax and spend liberal whiner. I'm with Relatively Obscure. I just don't trust him to represent District 15. District 15 has more gumption, more American spirit, more pride than Chris Frappier is willing to offer. He's just in the race to push his own liberal agenda. Plus, I hear he has a black child. Or he was a black child. I'm unsure about that bit.

Shoulda used Yakkity Sax for the music. Yakkity Sax makes any chase scene funnier.

To address the concerns of my fellow Farkers,

The ladies are part of my campaign staff, and a solid addition at that.

Falcc, I'll be in contact.

I'm neither black, nor Muslim.

I have no children.

But I do have another video: Clicky Click Click

Cheers,
Chris
