"Don't get me wrong; I'm sure that the cards were upsetting to those that found them (even though all they apparently said was "Joker"), and I agree that they should be charged with something for placing them. But conspiracy to commit an act of terrorism? Really?"
And I think the blogger is wrong in that the kids should be charged with something for placing the cards. Does every little incident have to end up in the criminal justice system? These adults should have their adult lives tainted over a stupid movie prank? And then what, they have problems getting a job, taking airplane flights, etc.
It seems like a race between the U.S. and the U.K. in which one can inflict the most nonsense on its citizens. This is what it must've been like when everything was going on in Northern Ireland.
