Wow, really reaching for celeb birthdays here.

Couple of guys in elementary school actually tried to get that backwards-pants thing to catch on. I used to giggle when one of them was headed for the bathroom. That must have been a hell of a task at the urinals.

True story: while at a summer day camp, I lost my dad's (then-)frickin' awesome Walkman (it had TWO headphone jacks, people!!) with Kris Kross' Totally Krossed Out cassette inside. This was like 1992.

I still feel guilty about it.

/both losing the Walkman itself, and the tape that was 'forever' playing in it.

Thanks subby. Now I have that song stuck in my head for the remainder of the work day.

/ashamed to admit it

I had something similar like that happen in school back around that same time, but it had the Paula Abdul "Spellbound" cassette tape in it.

I'll jump on that ashamed bandwagon, but I had the CD.

My first two CDs were Out of Time and 2 Legit 2 Quit.

Well... I still listen to one of them.

/Hey. Can't find nothin' on the radio...

That song was the highlight of my 6th grade sock hop. Good Lord I'm old. It's tequila time. Nothing chases the blues away like a depressant.

I remember those guys. At camp one year I found a Walkman with that tape in it. It totally rocked. Then I sold the Walkman to a friend of my brothers for six bucks and two warm beers.

/I still don't like Budweiser

My god I remember taping this off Z-100's nightly top song count down.

At the same time, Bohemian Rhapsody also made a comeback thanks to Waynes World if you'll all recall.

Good thing you reconsidered that tattoo.

Or did you?

Whenever I think "6th grade" this too is usually the first thing to pop into my head. This and shirts with Looney Tunes characters dressed up like gangsters on them
