I actually know this guy and will absolutely floored if these charges stick. He's one of the best administrators (and people) I've ever worked with and he works his ass off at school; I don't see how he'd possibly have time to run a freaking brothel in his spare time. Innocent until proven guilty.

IMO you got that right. That area is saturated with what are called Apartment Asian Massage Parlors. What did these two do that deserve four months of investigation? Just my suggestion, a competitor got POed (a bad economy hurts prostitution too) and when LE got involved SF LE assumed it was in their jurisdiction and they had not receved the usual upfront payment.
