Well, I'm sure that poll will be very useful.

nekom: who?

Wow, what kind of an idiot are you? He's the President, after Bush was chimpeached (thanks to Pelosi and Reid changing their minds due to thousands of Internet petition signers). Thanks to him, we're out of Iraq, which has become a happy flowering place overnight. Gas prices have never been lower either, due to all those "don't spend gas today" chain e-mails!

Isn't the Internet so useful?

I'm going to hold my nose and vote for Barr this year. I need to back a third party and it makes sense to back the largest one.

/If I ever find myself voting for a winner of an election, I will have to seriously reconsider what I've done because I've probably farked up.

I'm voting for Barr, not because I particularly like him (I think he's sincere, but I don't really care if he is or not), but because he represents the future the LP needs to have- a broad libertarian coalition rather than a radical fringe niche.

NEWS FLASH!

Obama One, the Democratic candidate's airplane, has crashed into the Straight Talk Express in Texas, killing all aboard both vehicles. Also-ran candidate, Ron Paul, a witness to the crash, has died of a massive heart attack brought on by the terror and jubilation when the force of the impact blew Hillary Clinton off of a cliff, killing a coyoté chasing a roadrunner. President Bush and Vice President Cheney were unavailable for comment because they were caught in flagrente delecto with underaged Thai male prostitutes and are being held by the Thai authorities. Bob Barr is now expected to be the President Elect of the United States unless one or more political parties decide to hold a Convention any way and elect a new candidate there. So lot's of luck on that.

It's only fair, after all, they leave Bob Barr's name off their surveys.

My reasoning is that the whole system is whole farked up that if I got roped into actually thinking that voting for Obama or McCain (in this case) was the right thing to do, then I'd feel dirty.

Unfortunately Bob Barr, stricken by the realization that primaries weren't in the constitution, steps down in favor of Cynthia McKinney.

/See why we can't have nice things like third parties?

You people would vote for warm feces if there was a good marketing campaign behind it.

Der. Third party idealists are just as bad as commies and ultra-conservatives. All of it sounds GREAT on paper but stupid in real life.

It doesn't bother you that he is not a libertarian? At all?

Perhpas my sarcasm meter is broken, but in case it's not...

How do ya figger, Trigger?

PLEASE let this guy be one of those "Hez not naturull borned!" types. They're fun.

Chris Barr 2008-08-10 11:35:06 AM
I really want a Barr for President sign. Not because I support the guy, but to make people think I'm running for president. I figure it would lead to some sweet parties. Maybe people would even give me money or something.

He's certainly preaching a moderate libertarian message now.

He's getting my vote.
