I think having the same last name as the Philadelphia baseball team automatically means you can't win.

Don't worry George, no one is voting for you.

... calls Mr. Barr a "right-wing Republican" Libertarian whose stances against same-sex marriage and for the war on drugs are...
Authoritarian, not Libertarian.

How the hell did Barr get the Libertarian nomination, anyway?

As a result of yesterday's headline, whenever I see the initials "LP," I'm going to assume that the "L" stands for "Lemon." Because it's oddly somewhat fitting, and it sure as heck doesn't stand for "libertarian" anymore, amirite?

I've seen George Phillies in person, the man has the charisma of a Kidney Bean.

It's hard to be more stupid than a republican but libertarians actually achieved that goal with their ultra braindead political position that sez "we don't need no stinking social programs"

Does this mean i'm not allowed to be a Phillies Phan?

Washed up Republicans looking for a political party where they will feel relevant.

His opponent, Bob Mets, will be up 7 points with 17 days to go, and then stage a historic collapse.

Ditto.
Here's a picture of him asleep in the hotel lobby at the NH Liberty Forum.

Phillies: I'm not the Candidate! Will you please listen? I am not the Candidate, do you understand? Honestly!
Girl: Only the true Candidate denies His candidacy.
Phillies: What? Well, what sort of chance does that give me? All right! I am the Candidate!
Followers: He is! He is the Candidate!

Yes but not any political party will do.

It must be one with the same disconnect from reality as the republicans and one with a hatred for poor people on social programs (as opposed to corporate welfare queens like Bear Stearns, IndyMac, Freddie Mac ect)

Now you see? THIS is why we can't have third parties. I hope they're ashamed of themselves.

One question i have never seen any libertarian attempt to give a serious answer to.

Today you have abolished social security and medicare.

What happens tomorrow ?

The Phillies suck, and they always have. There, I said it.
Wait...George Phillies? Oh, sorry for the outburst.

Not all libertarians want to do that.

However, many who are libertarians do-- and can't answer that question.

Well i have heard plenty give BS answers. Thats why i qualified my statement with the phrase "serious answer".

But those BS answers are often quite hilarious. They end up sounding like Newt during his delusional days (not that he's any less delusional now).

I heard suff like "Well you know peoples entrepenurial spirit will suddenly be unleashed when they don't have to pay FICA".

Market fundamentalist snake handlers are funny when the "spirit" comes over them.

BTW - want to be able to often recognize a brain washed individual that swallowed the raygun clap trap about how the world of business was "hip and happening".

Watch for those that use the word "entrepenuer" (then take some No- Doze before they can put you to sleep).

So am I. And I took both of his physics classes. I still have a copy of his textbook on statistical mechanics.

The problem isn't with the third parties it's with all the shiat the two major parties do to try to keep them off the ballot. It seems they're worried they might not win if they give people any other choice.

schrodinger: amirite

You are correct, sir!

The Big Hungry: Sounds like Phillies is being blunt.

Improper execution of the pun.

Here's a better (but still not good) execution:
