Given all the crap Hillary supporters have said about voting for McCain over Obama, Hillary coming out publicly and saying her supporters should vote for Obama may be a very helpful thing for him.

Then again, she might be hoping for the vice presidential nomination, and will pitch a fit if she doesn't get it.

We'll see, I suppose.

The Obama/Hillary ticket is a sure way to lose the Presidency. Hillary already lost. If you want to pick a VP candidate, you choose someone who has already won, or who has never lost.

/McCain is a playboy, who cheated on his wife.

It's Obama's to lose. So far he's playing like Muhammad Ali, when he really needs to play like George Foreman. Or maybe Joe Frazier. And with a Mike Tyson punch towards the end.

I'm guessing he'd rather have this particular slam leveled at him over the previous one.

"McCain is an oldster who dribbles on his wife".

Playboy versus Old Dribbler? Yea, give me the playboy title please! ;)

"Though she has endorsed her former rival, the speech was Clinton's first appearance at a rally for Obama since the two appeared together in Unity, N.H., in June."

"In another (TOTALLY UNRELATED} sign of growing detente between the House of Clinton and the House of Obama, Democrats said Bill Clinton would speak on the third night of this month's national convention in Denver."

and the timing of Edwards' confession resulting in him stepping out of the spotlight at the DNC and as a potential running mate...

This has been very well planned, beneficially negotiated and scripted...reminds me of the GOP

This is the first real sign I've seen that the Democrats may have made a conscious decision to work together and not self-destruct...but I won't hold my breath until after the DNC and a few other hurdles....

I barely follow boxing or even sports in general and even I know that comparing Barack's campaign to Muhammad Ali isn't exactly a bad thing. I'm sure the solid Tyson punch would probably come in the debates.

As long as there's no ear biting, I'm willing to bet McCain will be That Guy Who Was Tyson's First Fight After Jailtime (you know, THAT guy...).

Psst: a) Sun God is a well-known troll who's been taking a break for a while. Hi Sunny!
b) That was the joke. Foreman went in swinging and lost.
c) This election isn't Ali/Foreman. This election is Marciano/Vingo: one of the contestants is brain-damaged and shouldn't be anywhere near a boxing ring.

Some of her backers have complained loudly about the way the only female candidate was treated during the primaries.

Welcome to politics Hillary. When the media favors on candidate over another, everyone sees it but the media fav's supporters.

And Clinton supporters have succeeded in getting language into the draft of the Democratic Party platform that says, "We believe that standing up for our country means standing up against sexism and all intolerance.

As opposed to the rest of the people who would like to stand up and defend the joys of intolerance and sexism. Moran.

Nice post. Fighting intolerance, for Hillary Supporters means Censorship of anyone saying anything bad against Hillary. Although they Viciously, constantly accused DNC, MSM and Obama of playing the race-card but they never talked about why Florida and Michigan was disfranchised and the reason why:

Hillary Supporters (new window)

The criticism of Chris Matthew and there desire for the DNC to intervene shows the censorship intention of the delegates. Fortunately, there are leaving the DNC and hopefully join RNC. Kudos for the DNC, they stood up against hidden tyranny! If the RNC would be smart, they would outright reject them too.

Do you really want feces-throwing Hillary Supporters in your party?

Her supporters can't biatch. They were caught on video (it was all over Youtube) openly being racist and discriminatory based on the colour of his skin and his supposed religion ("He's a Muslim"). Yet NO ONE ever told them to smarten up or to her about how she should speak up and say something to her supporters.

And then there's the whole "Smear him and his campaign to hell" tactic that ended with her throwing the kitchen sink at him. Like really. Did her supporters not pay attention to her behaviour? Apparently not, they were too busy crying "Oh noes, she's a victim because people are calling her on her actions and her words!"

Uh, the media treated Hillary with kid gloves, maybe even moreso than they are treating McCain. Obama has always gotten the lion's share of media scrutiny. Did you watch the debates? Hear the commentary? All they can talk about is "When is Obama going to make a gaffe?"
"Is he arrogant?"
etc.

Excellent link! Both educational and hilarious. Plus, it supports the Bush=tool hypothesis by noting that while all sorts of other perfectly despicable people (such as the entire first Bush cabinet) are in the Tri-Lateral Commission or CFR or whatever, nobody will let in poor Georgie. The best he could do is a Skull and Bones membership.
