I don't think this is fair. First of all, there are 535 people in Congress, and we know very little about most all of them. I would be most of us would seriously to struggle to name even 5% of people in Congress. Secondly, being in Congress is really not easy, having to make consensus with a ton of other people, and not making headlines when it happens. A lot of stuff happens behind the scenes and people get zero credit. Feel free to blame Congressional leaders, but I don't think its fair to paint them all with a single brush.

Pelosi tabled the 09 federal budget a month ago..it's written in stone..it's her fault. It's about a trillion dollars in tax increases. If you think the public can absorb a trillion in tax increases, well all righty then. I hope you feel that way in December when the market tanks from everyone "profit taking" before those capital gains taxes increase.

The big hits are all the alternative energy projects that are in construction, if they don't complete by Jan 1st, they will lose 20% of their investment to the government coffers. Theres are solar and other large scale projects.
