And since Wil Wheaton is a regular on fark (he once commented on a submission of mine) does this mean all of us are 1 degree of separation from him?

You just need to know that one person who knows someone famous and you have a massive opening. My uncle used to play in a band with Neil Young and played with the members of The Guess Who way back in the day. Thus I'm 2 away from Neil Young which means I'm 3 away from a lot of famous rockers.
