The celebrity beavers took up residence there about two years ago and then proceeded to chew through $10 million of flood-control work.

I sure hope it's Paris Hilton's beaver so they can make that money back from tourist dollars.

Bathroom trade?

Proudly declares that indeed, I love beaver more than almost anything else in the world.

The furry beaver is my national symbol.

It makes parts of me well up with patriotic pride.

I prefer the quote
"If you take the beavers away, people would be very sad."

That's for sure

I've noticed that a light nibble every now and then can be appreciated. It depends on the beaver.

Beaver is my favorite word in the world, because every time you say it, someone will smile.

The most unique baby gift I have ever given was a collection of about 2 dozen beaver toys and books. "Baby's first collecton"...awww!

I need to go to this festival!

Getting away from the boringly obvious south of the navel beaver jokes that the juvenile minds of male Farkers trend towards--and I won't even point out that in Martinez it's not the beaver that would interest most males in the bathrooms but the wide stance that Republicans favor in the stalls--and onto the quadruped damming issue:

Up in Alaska they don't even bother wondering whether to "trap and relocate" the bothersome rodents, or reroute the stream around the cute little animals gnawed tree limbs. They just tape together three or 4 sticks of dynamite and toss them into the pond and take cover. Problem solved.

We now return you to our regularly scheduled crotch references.

But Martinez, former home of famed naturalist John Muir, has taken a mostly celebratory approach to the aquatic rodents. Some merchants have started selling beaver T-shirts, coffee mugs, wine glasses, stuffed animals and other souvenirs.

Not like Joe D'maggio was famous or something.... or capitalized on....

If I want to see a beaver in Martinez, I'll go see Jessica @ College Lane. The best floor show in town....

Nothing draws a crowd like photogenic beavers.

I would just like to note that I spent my formative years living on Beaver Road, in Beaver Township. The party store just off the highway (about 5 miles from my house) had a two-story tall beaver for it's sign.

/Beaver

Well the beaver once slept for 7 months
and gave us an awful fright
so I tickled his chin and I gave him a pinch
and the bastard tried to bite

You do know that's the way it comes, right? Not all of us are willing to strip it all off down there.

/There's a reason there are no beavers in Brazil
//a little judicious trimming is helpful, though

I was in a situation once where a group of people had to attend an IMAX movie in order to get free tickets to something else. We didnt know what was showing when we sat down, and suddenly there it was, with a title 30 feet high: BEAVERS! I had such a hard time keeping my one liners to myself (we had a bunch of kids with us) that I fell asleep.

And snored. They teased me about that for weeks.

I'm not really a big fan of the brazilian wax, either. The perfect snatch is one that is judiciously trimmed, yes.
