Her BAND, however, is pretty tight. Watch them on YouTube covering Metallica's "Fuel" at that 2003 MTV Icon show. The band did pretty well, even if Avril's vocals might not sit well with you.

Hey kids, punk rock is dead and has been dead for many, many years. Get over it and accept that "punk" now refers solely to the fashion choices which has remained as the sole remnant of the rotting, hollowed-out corpse of punk rock.
