Nice headline.

It might partly be because I don't give a shiat who Edwards sleeps with, but I fail to see the irony...

Damn it! Either it was changed when it was greenlit, or I need a lot more coffee.

If I had 2 sets of kids, I'd be looking for the third America.

I hear that.

I just wanted to get in here before the "why does Fark keep greenlighting all these John Edwards articles" people get here.

/Hint: anger generates traffic

Honestly, if the Enquirer has pictures and video, let's see them. That's just one reason they aren't taken seriously as a hard news source.

Canada isn't that difficult to find.

The guy has been working hard to get the gig as Obama's Attorney General. That puts him, his personal life, and his character in play.

Ah, just like a liberal, burdening the hard working tax payers of America with his illegitimate offspring, instead of engaging in discreet, self-loathing gay butt sex with strangers like decent conservatives do. Truly libs, your hatred of America knows no bounds.

Yeah, but three headlines a day for a week and a half? It's like Edwards=instant greenlight lately

They have to do something to counter the "All Obama, all the time" thing they've got going on the Politics tab.

Maybe Edwards can sue his obstetrician; if only he'd been born as a C-section, then he wouldn't have grown up to become an adulterer.

Edwards is to kids as the cookie monster is to cookies: he eats them because he loves them.

Hey, if he can afford 'em, let him roll.

I wonder what Edwards tells his kids when they ask about the brother who is not allowed to live in a big fancy house like they do.

Oh, who am I kidding, Edwards will just lie right to their faces and smile.

Does not follow. So if you learned that the founding fathers had illegitimate children, would you assume that they were incompetent at their jobs?

bberg: They have to do something to counter the "All Obama, all the time" thing they've got going on the Politics tab.

Oh. So is this the new version of "Bush has a low approval rating, but congress is lower, lol" meme we had to hear every day last year just to balance things out?

If he wanted to get his wife's mind off her cancer, he probably succeeded.

Is this based off something he's actually done? Because it sounds about on par with the cases I'm actually familiar with in his history.

I mean, he sued a third-party pump company because their product was installed in a defectively-designed pool (and won) at one point, so he's not the most rational of prosecutors.

//About like suing the manufacturer of a baseball bat because a mobster used it to break your knees.

Remember, boys and girls:

* Prominent Democrat not running for public office reported in a cheesy supermarket tabloid to have an illegitimate child: SCANDAL.

* Prominent Republican running for President known to have had an affair with a hot young babe and dumped his wife for her: NOT A SCANDAL.

TofuTheAlmighty: I wonder if submitting all Edwards stories found by Google News with a decoy headline would prevent the admins from greenlighting every piece of this drivel?

I wonder why you don't know what a scrollbar does?

Could it be possible that the media situation was a little different in 1800 than it is now? If Thomas Jefferson (who, btw, I think was a total shiat personally, and utterly overrated as one of the Founding Fathers - read some history and you may agree) had had to face scrutiny about his personal life the way that public figures expect to face today, AND STILL KNOCKED UP Sally, then, yes, that would say something about him.

You know - the guy who cobbed the "all men are created equal" line while owning slaves? The guy that nearly tanked Hamilton's brilliant and ulimately successful repayment plan for the Revolutionary War debt because of his stupid affinity for the French? The guy who character-assassinated Adams because he wanted to be President? The guy who nearly got the country into another war with England that would nearly certainly have ended the American experiment during that administration? The guy who so poorly managed his own money? Yeah, I would say that being a personal scumbag was relevant then, too.
