The majority of Chesnutt's band was heading back to Nashville after a Saturday night gig at Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth

Is there any southerner/redneck/country fan that's not named Billy Bob?

The Exploding Hearts are not impressed.

Hey, God, can we trade you one Mark Chesnutt for three Exploding Hearts? Pretty please?

C'mon, this is the guy that recorded "Bubba Shot the Jukebox!" Surely he deserves to be in hell for that one!

I've never actually met anyone named Billy Bob and I have been to Billy Bob's in FW.

It's a huge-assed bar on the scale of Gilley's (Yeah, I've been there too - before it closed and burned and re-opened and closed).

Not that I dig country music or anything. I saw David Allen Coe at Billy Bob's (bonus - Warren Haynes was playing guitar - actually, that was the only reason I went, but DAC rocked).

I saw DAC again a couple of weeks after that Dimebag character got shot in a club - I've never been through security so tight at a shiatty little club than for that show. Club capacity: about 300 I guess (maybe 500)...time to get inside - about 45 minutes.

And yes, my long hair just can't cover up my redneck

I saw Mark Chesnutt play at Billy Bob's once. He didn't play any songs I liked. And when I first moved to Fort Worth, I really tried to like country. I swear I did.

You'd think there would be conflict of interest issues or something. Admittedly, this seems like a rather straightforward case and the cops probably don't want to deal with a car tire after an idiot kid, but you'd think there would be something against this sort of thing in the regulations.

Have I got some crazy tour stories myself from playing in a horror punk band from 2003-2007. Didn't help that our singer was a GG Allin wannabe.

/has packed up his drum set as a San Antonio cop stood behind him with his hand on his billy club, patiently tapping the handle...
