I have always felt that Thin Lizzy was one of the most underrated bands of their era. Not only could they rock like sonsabiatches, the songwriting was fantastic.

Saw them as a nipper in '79, on a bill with UFO, J. Geils and some other shiat. Awesome.

RIP Phil indeed.

a Thin Lizzy thread after a Rush thread?

/I laugh at the irony
//Phil and the boys FTW
///still actively seeks out Thin Lizzy boots, although my collection numbers over 120 cassettes, CDs, LPs ands MP3's

Thin Lizzy.

Pure and solid unpretentious straight ahead no compromising tasteful
rock and roll.

....perfect thing to say immediately after a Rush thread.

Never heard of the guy...

BUT Thin Lizzy rises and falls on 'NIGHT LIFE'

STILL one of my favorite albums from 'Night Life' to
'Still in Love with You', not a bad song on it.
