A guy walks into a bar with a piece of asphalt under his arm. He asks the barkeep for a drink and one for the road.

The only thing I know about snooker is it's what Andy Capp played in the comics.

I don't know about snooker but I really like snickers, butterfingers also.

SO I did.
Did they at least collar him for some crime?
In the USA, he would have been tagged for sure.

Yay! Snooker jokes!

- Kissing balls
- Deep screw
- Easy pink or tight brown

Yeah, but it's not quite as popular as soccer, so... Not really.

MrHormel 2008-07-27 10:52:18 PM
Two drunks went into a pub and found the snooker table set up for a game."Can we have a game?"they asked the barman. "Sure, it's free". After an hour neither of them had potted a ball. "Lets speed things up,"said the first drunk. "How?"asked the other. "We'll take the balls out of the frame".

8-ball is the popular billiards game on this side of the pond. Nine-ball is gaining in popularity but is a distant second.

I know some British folk who have moved to the States and set up a snooker table in their basement because there aren't any to be found around here. They introduced me and it really is a fantastic cue game, much harder than 8- or 9- ball and fascinating. It is a shame more Americans never get a chance to give it a try.

/2 pence

I prefer to get together with the chaps down the block for a fun filled afternoon of polo.

If you have a dog that has been on TV and is so valuable.....TAKE CARE OF HIM.
Its simple

My Dog is a worthless Poop Machine and I would never let her under a tractor I was working on.

Pretty sad.

You may or may not be surprised at how many people run over their sleeping dogs.

trillium13: You may or may not be surprised at how many people run over their sleeping dogs.

It's an unreliable number, though. They asked one for an honest answer, but everybody knows that you should let sleeping dogs lie.

I'm just here to say that snooker is a tough-ass biatch of a game. Last time I played I think I scored 45 and was happy for it. Can't wait to play again, but there are hardly any tables on this continent.

Nine-ball is more fun to play.

This is sad.

The man is a bus driver, the high-point of his life was probably the moment his dog appeared on television playing snooker, imagine the pride; "Why yes I *do* own a dog that plays snooker on television" - and now it's gone, all gone. How likely is it he will find a replacement pet that is in any way adept at playing cue sports?

And to add to the pain it was at his own hands this baize-beast died.

No Mitchell & Webb snooker announcer pics?

Well, "that's a bad miss" doesn't really apply here.
